  • lowell george was the man period

  • Oh man, but how I miss Lowell! He was the heart and soul! RIP LG This just dont get it. One thing, too slow and no SOUL!

  • Paul has done a great job of stepping in as front man since Lowell's been gone. The guys have stuck together to play THEIR music. Shawn was a nice addition and then she moved on. No matter what, they have created some of the most awesome music of the last 40 years and they still grind it out, day in and day out. Still a live show worth seeing and still creating music worth listening to. I've met countless fathers at shows, with their sons and daughters, just to show them what a real band can do

  • Lovin it!

  • What Lowell and Richie and the boys created way back when was fantastic but it in no way takes away from the Feat of today. I have seen them in many incarnations and they are always great. Basically, they are one of the origional JAM bands and continue the tradition now. For those who are offended by the girl I have three names for you - Linda, Bonnie and (of course) Emmilou. All sang with Feat and only ADDED ot the music.

  • re a woman's sound being wrong for the band, tell linda ronstadt, who sang with lowell, at least, a LOT, on little feat tunes (like this one). or listen to the backup singers on fat man in the bathtub with the blues. feats has ALWAYS had female singers! as for lowell, shunning the longtime remaining band won't bring him back. listening, however, may afford some pleasure. if it doesn't, for some, so be it, but the rest of us are glad they're still around.

  • The band has been in existence for a much longer period without Lowell than with him. He was a musical genius but I have to applaud Bill, Paul, Fred, Richie, Sam and Kenny for keeping it together all these years. Listen to the albums since Lowell died. Some awesome music has been created by Little Feat without Lowell. I've been to many shows and they always leave me smiling. Lowell died - get over it.

  • @boied01 i do respect what your saying and agree they have made amazing music, but please dont have that attitude towards lowell he is worth alot more respect than what you have given him the guy was truly amazing when he was alive, thats all i have to say no offence meant towards you in ur musical tastes boied,

  • Hey PaMairi, Check out bluearmyfr123's upload of Willin", you can't miss it the suggestions column to our immediate right!

  • Thank you 9erfandex ... the original Little Feat had a unique sound, a chemistry that has never been reproduced since then. Thank God for YouTube for offering us that original sound.

  • @PaMairi I completely agree w/you. It may as well not even be the same band. I absolutely HATE the addition of the woman to the band. I think she ruins the entire sound. Their MOJO died along w/Lowell IMO. The band has never sounded the same. Just can't get into them anymore.

  • This isn't Little Feat. That band died when Lowell George died. This is a travesty to what Little Feat was.

  • @PaMairi AMEN!

  • Well you guys are all entitled to your opions and likes and dislikes. As for this old man I had the pleasure of spending time with these guys back in the 70s. I was traveling with a band and we played several venues with these guys and it was just unreal. Lowell is gone and no one can replace him, but I don't think he would want the music to die and I would like to think he is lookin down with a smile. We all die and life goes on, but the music never dies, it's forever!

  • I love Paul Barrere and all, but he is no Lowell George, BUT, then again, that just may never happen again! R.I.P. Lowell and you too Richie, I miss the hell out of the both of you! The people in this video are all fine musicians, so why don't they work on producing some new original material and operate under the auspice of a new moniker!

  • @9erfandex Come again??? These guy's ARE Little Feat...Paul, Sam, Kenny & Billy... cheeky sod...... and everyone they see fit to come along for the ride!!

  • @9erfandex ....you must be right.......you clearly know best........who am I anyway.......your way more superior........yeah, your definately right........what do I know........I've only been listenin' for about the last 25 years of my life..........I must try harder......and so on....... (yawn)

  • @9erfandex well why are you checkin' out video's of bands you don't like? I think your telling lies and you're trying to look cool for jaxgal....jaxgal knows what's right.....and your not it..... ;-)

  • @9erfandex ....Hey, your funny. I liked the vid and takin' the piss....you took the bait...ha ha ha...here's laughin' at you kid!

  • @SHAKEDOWN72 History will prove you to be an ass!

  • Lowell and cocaine? If so he was just messing around playing 'cause his preferred drug of choice was smack, horse, mexican mud...in one word, heroin. It killed him. Then again who's to say it also it didn't open that door to all the great music he wrote. Lowell George was brillant.

  • Little Feat died when Lowell George died. I can't even listen to this. It may as well be another band entirely. It's NOT 'LITTLE FEAT' it's a Little Feat TRIBUTE band. The woman singer kills it completely for me.

  • @jaxgal618 ....There's only Lowell missing? How you figure they're a tribute??...seeeing as Paul wrote half the stuff anyhows???

  • @SHAKEDOWN72 Look at it this way... it's the same as if Mick Jagger and Keith Richards left the Stones. Would it still be the Stones ? HELL NO !!! Once the members who the fans identify with because they MADE the sound of the band, the MOJO of the band, etc.... the band is NO LONGER the band. May be their songs, and some original members.. but it is NOT the same band and NEVER will be.

  • RIP Richie Hayward

  • Who's willin?

  • great concert last not(not this one) at artpark!!!!

  • I was at this show, holy shit!!!

  • Don't pay any attention to the negative comments. I'm sure Lowell is watchin' and keepin' time with his "Little Feats." You guys and gal are great. Lowell is gone and surely missed, but he would want you to keep on keepin'on.

  • I wish some one would have told Lowell that a fat man and cocaine wasn't such a good idea.

  • R.I.P. Lowell George. Sadly missed, never forgotten.

  • Wonderful song brings back good memories

  • thanks for adding this to my day.. i love u youtube!!

  • Had a friend who would keep you laugh'en while he was never pass'en.

    BOGART

  • Why is he rollin?

  • @mikehattan 'cuz they didn't have bongs when Lowell died ;-) But really, the original has integrity that this just can't ever hope to match. Little Feat continues their career on Lowell's coattails, and that's just sad...

  • @WolfSongStudio What is sad about really talented friends of Lowell keeping his memory alive with a tribute like this??

  • Yeah, right. Lowell George is rolling in his grave at this shit

  • the best 10 minutes of the day!

  • Good Shit All Day
