  • Looks so painful but the person doesnt seem very reactful, lol.

  • @Mraajdar it IS painful, but they never react.

  • I've seen all these videos and NO ONE has mentioned the idea of geting the good/evil symbols and magic lines from the Fable series. THAT would be bad ass.

  • @Mywretchedheart except fable is a joke of a game, the first one was ok but every one after is bad! imo at least

  • I love my tats and would love to have a facial one but due to work, society, family and all I want to get it in UV. after all the tattoos are for one self and not for others.

  • For all those who said TRIFORCE on back of hand..... W I N (^_^)

  • im getting a triforce on the back of my hand.

  • @kittycatcarley im gunna get that done too lol and the triforce of courage glows in uv

  • @JarrefPikar hell yeah!!

  • man that is awesome, its funny, I have alot of tattoos and I hate the sound of a running tattoo machine XD Yet it doesn't bother me when I get tattooed, I guess I get into a mental state before I get tattooed lol

  • omg i wanna get my veins tattooed

  • I don't want it to be visible unless it's under a black light, god damnet!

  • great video...i just finished doing a uv tattoo on myself, hopefully i can post it soon

  • @lucienphotography

Can we see it now, please? =] also, have you ever heard about the glow of it fading? i'm wondering how long that takes.

  • @ilickspam: it's like any normall tattoo, a tattoo is just a colorful scab pretty much, you'll have to get them touched up over time if you want them to stay sharp no matter the type of ink.

  • thats sickk!! so cool!!

  • So how much has the daylight visible look of it faded? I'm looking at getting a neck tattoo with UV inks, but I can't have it be daylight visible for work and all

  • @elizotte once it heals you wont be able to see anything uless they are very close to where they can see the small scars of where the needle went in but under black UV lights it will glow

  • The idea is pretty interesting, but the idea of glowing tattoo doesn't appeal to me.

  • woow were can i get 1 done haha

  • does any tattoo artist do this or is it like aspeciallity or somthing?

  • Not everyplace carries the Uv ink, but otherwise I believe it is the same as applying any other tattoo.

  • most places dont carry UV ink because its harder to use. the ink is a lot runnier so it takes longer more runs for the skin to take it. its also not a good idea to do shading with UV ink.. it ends up lookin like a blob. i just got a half sleeve in UV ink

  • hi i have just found out about UV ink tatts can you please post up photo.also is it realy as clear and pop out as dipicted in most photos

  • well im finishing it up on tues. ill post then. but yes, its really clear if you ONLY outline with it... if u use it to fill, the color is splotchy and uneven. most good artists will tell u that its not a good idea to use it as a fill. also, some colors of UV ink might not show up as well depending on your skin tone, or it will take more runs to get it to stick right. thats one of the reasons its a bit more expensive. but average price is around $100-150 an hour.

  • dont forget the side effects such as skin cancer depending on ur skin type and all that.... but its probable...lol

  • actually its not likely unless the needle has been exposed to radiation. the ink has been approved by the FDA to be safe and cancer free. the worst the could happen is ink rejection where your body pushes the ink out. with the old blacklight ink it was more probable that you could get cancer merely because of the chemicals, but its actually a lot safer now.

  • actually my reasearch r pretty recent, as in couple of minutes ago, and it says that UV ink is FDA approved for animal and plant use only... never been tested on human... even though the process of making teh ink is different than before... well, im just saying...im definitely gonna do some UV ink outline on my new fresh tatt...any idea on which UV brand is the safest, what is that FDA approved that U R TALKINF ABOUT ??

  • dude i have 5 UV tats. FDA? the FDA doesnt approve anything for plants... the FDA only works with humans and pets. skin candy and chameleon are good. i prefer skin candy because its glows brighter. but still i want to know where this "research" is from

  • dont remember exactly, its just google, its all over the place...not hard to find..and also in magazines...and newspapers, an old newspaper...lol if it was so safe, why all online results say the same thing : not FDA approved for tattoo" ? and btw, how come, most of tattoo parlors dont offer the UV service if it's so safe ?

  • did u go to the skin candy site? most parlors dont offer UV because the ink has a different consistency. you have to learn to use it and most places dont do it because they dont want to waste their time learning and getting used to it. not to mention that not a whole lot of people get blacklight ink. so it would be a waste of money to buy the ink, practice and have no one use it...

  • nah dont worry dude, i know its likely to be safe if u use the right ink.. i dunt remember but theres one that says that the ink actually encapsulated inside micro-sized capsules, so that it never comes in contact with the blood.. and i gotta say, THAT SOUNDS REALLY SAFE...i dunno about other inks' chemical configuration...i will defenitely do some UV ink outlining..thanks for the skin candyu website though... appreciate it..

  • dude, did u ever get any infection or allergy due to the UV ink ?? i just got my UV red ink from skin candy yesterday... im waiting for my tattoo to get done, then ill just outline it with UV red UV ink...i cant wait to see it at work dude.. thanks for the info on skin candy...did u get any rash at all ?? any side effects ?? jsuit curious

  • no allergies.

  • did the tattooer use any special cream or ointment different from the ordinary bacitracin ?? any special care or just liek any regular tattoo ? just curious dude..lol

  • just use tattoo ointment after instead of lotion. lotion or petroleum jelly. petroleum will make it bleed out and so will the alcohol in the lotion. i use tattoo balm which is made out of beeswax and olive oil or somethin.. i forget its been a hwile since i had it done.

  • thanks again for the info...

  • no ink has actually been approved by the FDA none at all

  • go to the link and read. chameleon has.

  • @TheAliceRose chameleon has

  • tattoo parlors know that there is a huge liability to doing UV tattoo... cuz of all its possible side effetcs and all.... they dont wanna get sued and lose their business for giving a customer skin cancer or

  • a man i thought that stuff was like bad for you well from and since youve got one how is it man is it bad ass or what

  • How much are these on average, like how much was urs for its size

  • were bouts u from im from syd asut n i got charged 450 for mine its bout 20 by 15 cms

  • Manchester, England and £450, i gotta say thats pretty good from what i was expecting.

  • uhm im tlking dollars man hehe 450 is expensiveee

  • my half sleeve cost me almost 400 just for the outline. starts at the bone where my shoulder meets the collar bone and runs down to probably about 2 inches above my elbow.

  • in UV ink ??? and did u have any side effect at all ??? rashes, irritations ?? cancer ?? lol

  • is it invisable?

    im confused

is it glow in the dark?

  • Invisible yes. Glow in the dark? No. You have to be around a blacklight for it to show up.

  • It glows in UV (ultraviolet) light, which a blacklight bulb gives off.

  • was this invisible to uv??

  • i totally want me arm or leg skeleton

    shame im only 15 :(

  • DO IT YOURSELF!

i gave my self my first at 15.

  • fuck man... i want to get one... but i not sure where to go to get it done...

cuz i know there r place u can get it done...

  • thanx yeti... i'm getting one anyway..!!!!

  • does it have to be UV light or it works in any dark places to get the colors appear??

  • has to be under UV. like a black light. but theres also glow in the dark tattoos thatll show in the dark obviously lol

  • right im getting my arm shoulder chest done and wondering if i get that all black can it go over in uv so it lights up under uv and looks normal in normal light reply to me plz any1 who can tell me

  • that sound brings back alot of memories

  • how much did it money waz it i want a barcode on the back of my neck

  • that is the most cliche tattoo ever, seriously think a little harder before you get something.

  • Hear they are anywhere between 2-5 times as much as a normal Tattoo due to the inks being about 3x as much as normal tattoo ink and it being a realativly new thing
