  • Really, what is that your using to practice on ????

  • @scubadude72060 It's a fake skin made for tattoo practice. Easy to find on Tattoo suppliers, even on Amazon and eBay.

  • careful not to touch the blood with your hand... lol

  • Nice machine what is it?

  • what kind of paper is that ??

  • @bcrawfordflushing my advice is don't try to start tattooing till you have your portfolio consisting of at least 20 to 24 pages of your best work to take to a tattoo shop to show them and maybe they will give you an apprenticeship if your drawings are good enough. If you buy a kit and start doing it yourself you will most likely develop bad habits and techniques. A tattooist will want to train you from scratch making it harder for them as you have got bad habits already. And their is no website

  • I gotta question, I'm just starting out and I bought Blacker Tattoo Ink 8oz to practice with. How thick should the ink be? And when I tattoo on the practice skin, Inks splatters alot? And lastly, were can I find a website/fourm about everything you need to know on tattooing. Or perhaps a book?

  • @bcrawfordflushing stop filling your tube up too much and just have enough to use instead

  • how do you keep the practice skin so clean???

  • HOOLAAY DIIIVAH!!

  • That's really interesting.

Thanks for this, wanted to know how this is done for a long time.

I had tattoos on my legs about 25 yrs ago but didn't pay much heed to how it, ie, the needles etc. actually work.

    Great post.

  • your machine doesn't sound right and your rubber bands are too high.. (that MIGHT be why its not running smoothly)

Drawing skills are good though... you should get people to practice on, though... no other substitute.

  • One the rubber bands are not to high. Two if you knew anything about tattooing that sounds exactly like he has the voltage just a tad low but some people like to run like that, its pretty much a matter of personal preference .

  • wally on second look.. yea you're right abouthte rubber bands.. but I still disagree about the sound of the machine... I run my machinses high low and everything in between and they hummm... i'm just trying to help out.. and yes I do know a bit about tattooing...no need to be rude..

  • Very Nice Man.

  • why are you bouncing all over the place? you work one area at a time. shade in a area for 5 min. move over to another area and then go back and finish the first area after the skin has cool off. the skin will get red and if you dont move away for a minute you cant judge the value of grey .

  • really nice, im gonna try and get my self a complete kit and start practicing. not looking for a career just a fun thing to do on the side. maybe get good and do tattoos for friends and shit.... looks awsome for practice skin dude =D

  • where do u get pig ears?

  • id say bend the 2nd skin over your knee or on someones arm that way you have a more realistic feel. no ones body is flat so your ganna have to learn to flow with the body

  • ohh yeah well if pig ears are way better , did you get any better ?

  • HOLY DIVER!!

  • how did you know its not worthed have you tried it before?

  • nice.

  • wipe a paper towel with petroleum jelly to keep your practice skin clean .....gudluck

  • how do u keep ur practice skin that clean?

the practice skin i got cant be cleand the ink drys on it and it fucks the whole thing, ink all over, what skin do u use and plz tell me do u use any soap when whiping the ink out of the skin?

  • yeah what that guy said, use petroleum jelly to clean it off...i had the same exact problem with my first practice skin, it fucked the whole thing up.
