I know the woman Simon wrote this song to. Knowing the whole personal meaning behind this song was pretty heavy. Now hearing her explain her reason for singing this, it means something totally new. And again Teri, You are a goddess. (And I dont even like blondes)

Back in 95 I was going through a divorce and even sang this song in Karaoke, it meant so much to me. I since remarried and my wife committed suicide this February. Imagine my delight at listening to this favorite song a whole new way when I saw Berlin last night at Dante's in Portland, OR with my friends around me. Many shed tears, this video is beautiful but in person it is so much more. Thank you Terri.

I saw them perform this @ LA Pride two weeks after Teri's mum died. After she announced that and her hubby carried her on his shoulders through the crowd as she sang this with such deep emotion, there was not one person in the place not bawling their eyes out! Amazing. I will never forget that.
