  • I'll have to remember that Idea for when I buy a Drift. Can't wait ti see some video.

  • @seekinsoul The lens cover works great. I will admit, though, to shooting about a half hour video having forgotten to remove the dang thing!

  • Nice job on the lens cover. Sounds like you had a blast on your trip :)

  • @p0kerp1aya Thanks, and yeah, the trip was a good one. Already looking forward to the next one!

  • Hi DP. Glad to hear you had another one of your epic motorcycle vacations in NC - I've really enjoyed watching your road trips through that incredible countryside. It will be great to see what the back roads look like this time round. Great setup with the camera, reserve tank and lense protector. Cheers!

  • @TKTex1 I'm not sure I would call my trips epic, but I do have fun! Once again my weather was perfect, and I should be able to cobble up a few decent videos.

Too bad about that late red flag at Monaco. The finish of that race could have been one for the ages. :(

  • That looks like a really cool set up DP. Looking forward to seeing a vid from it.

  • @Swipe650 It's nice to finally get the camera out of the helmet!

  • Nice van setup.

  • @criticsview I got the van years ago for work reasons, but it sure comes in handy for hauling bikes as well !

  • Glad you had a good time! I recently broke my leg in a car accident and am dying not being able to ride. Looking forward to seeing your new HD moto vlogs!

  • @eelmcd Sorry to hear about your leg. Breaking a bone is never a good thing, but doing it at the beginning of riding season is really a pain. I did it 3 summers ago. Only a collar bone though.

  • That camera set-up looks great. I sure hope it provides the same “look and feel” that the old Kodak provided. Where did you first learn of this particular set-up? I’m not a fan of my camera pushing on the tip of my nose.

  • @Spacecoastz I first saw the camera reviewed many months ago by a moto vlogger by the name of Svengalie. More recently I've been watching the Drift HD efforts from 808yewtube in Hawaii. She has really been singing its praises.

  • Glad you had a good time DP. It seems like more and more Vloggers are going to the Drift 170 so it must be the way to go. Hope you can share some of your trip with us.

  • @MAG315 I tried (not very hard, I guess) to talk myself out of buying the Drift, but I'm glad I got it. It's a nice unit. There should be at least a few vids to come from the latest trip.

  • Looking good, I've gotta pick myself up a Drift sometime. I really wonder if we crossed paths one day.

  • @ToastToGo I was in the DG/Cherohala area last Mon. and Tues. Later in the week I was a bit further east.

  • Cant wait to see your video from the trip DP....im sure you got some exciting stuff.

  • @Wilks89 I'll be posting at least a couple. Not too sure how exciting they'll be!

Hopefully we'll get to see some of your stuff from Arkansas as well.

  • @dprider02 Wish I could say i had some to post. I tried a new mount and it back fired on me. Way to much vibrations and it looks like a Fudmottin video...lol. 808Yewtube, Chado34, Matth1138, BusasaurusRex should have some good vids coming out.

  • @Wilks89 "Looks like a Fudmottin video" That made me laugh!!

  • Great idea on the lens cover!

  • @dafobra Thanks. It works well. A lot better than the sock! :)
