@JumPShotZ2 -- No, but I wanted to. All I could picture was if I had done something like that and had someone take it away just as fast, for whatever the reasons. I have pretty bad allergies, and my eyes could just look like that all of the time. But, no, I never got to the crying point that night.
That reminds me at Miller Park when Prince Fielder hit a double, but it was suppose to be a home run. It hit the yellow bar, yet no homer. Anyways, great video!
@Bundashit -- I think this situation, without a doubt, proves that kind of thinking is super wrong. Galarraga has to go through the rest of his life knowing that he didn't get the same treatment that other players got when they threw perfect games. I still feel like the umpire may have originally done this for his own image, and then absolutely regretted it after seeing the full result. That is just my opinion, but it has some grounds, based on how much the umpires embellish their calls now.
@cncredalert17 -- Wow, shouldn't that have been the point that you stopped watching instead of whining about something that you CHOSE to do? Man, what is happening to the intelligence level in the country? I am still hoping that most people understand that if you don't like something that you are doing by choice, you could just stop doing it.
@cncredalert17 -- And you still feel the need to continue commenting on something that you didn't like, in an attempt to make yourself look better. No one on here cares about you pointing out what you think is something no one else noticed. If you look at the rest of the comments, most are not like yours, and if anyone else didn't like it, they kept their mouth shut and were respectful. Thank you for reminding all of us of just how lost that idea is from today's society.
@krisbenham You also feel the need to keep defending yourself. So the majority of the comments on here were respectful, yet somehow, me, one guy, is now representing everyone in society and how lost the idea of respect is. You have very thin skin which is why you have suddenly became so entertaining to me. ;)
If you had time to watch game 3 of the stanley cup finals, there were two calls there and instant replay was able to decide the outcome of those two plays. it is just another reason why the nfl, the nba, and the nhl have become less controversial than the mlb. After the game, Leyland said that these controversial calls reflect the beauty of the game. I like Leyland, but i totally disagree. All they need to do is to get the call right and a call should not determine the outcome of the game.
I do think it should have been over turned. But we have already had our talk about this, perhaps stick to what you know best Kris and that is baseball cards and everthind baseball card. I am on a light note going to see the braves vs detroit on the 25th of this month. Hope it is a good starting rotation day for both teams.
@byfordisaiah -- Actually, the game of baseball is what I know best. Buying and selling cards are only a result of my interest in the game itself. I hope the Tigers can use this to their advantage for the rest of the season. I enjoyed our discussion.

According to an article just released from USA Today, MLB Commissioner Bud Selig will NOT change the outcome of what will now be known as the worst call in the history of sports. It is truly a sad day when someone blatantly refuses to change something that's wrong. Armando Galarraga won't get an official perfect game on his resume, but he did get a brand new Chevrolet Corvette from GM today. They decided that his attitude during the issue was worthy of a gift, no matter what anyone else thinks.
@spobrocy -- It is never wrong to talk about Jesus. He choice to live perfectly is the only reason that any of us have a chance at a relationship with God. Since I made the video, and this is my channel, I can surely talk about anything that I would like to, and should be able to without any criticism from anyone.

I finally realized why this is so hard for some people to see. Because our society is so removed from God, people today actually believe that we are supposed to make mistakes, so it is OK when we do. When God created humans, we were never intended to make mistakes, so it is not OK to make mistakes. We are still going to, but that doesn't make it OK. Now, we are so used to making mistakes, that people are trying to make it OK to leave the mistakes they way they are which is just crazy. Cont >>
@krisbenham -- God sent Jesus to this world to show mankind how we we supposed to live our lives, as a role model. Obviously, that is not possible because of Adam and Eve sinning by choice, which changed things for everyone after that. But we are supposed to live as close as possible to how Jesus lived. That means we are supposed to do things right all of the time. But since we don't, when we do things wrong, and we can make them right, we are supposed to do that at the very least.
Instant replay is so stupid I am so glad baseball does not use it the games are long enough which I love about it and I watch baseball only because there are no replays. get over it if Roy halladay would have had a prefect game against detroit I am sure we would not have this video up had he had a call blown. I love baseball becuase of no replays I hope the never do it.
@byfordisaiah -- I knew there would be people on both sides of this argument. It isn't just about instant reply, it is about doing things right. We have a simple, and very fast way of reviewing a history changing call like this. For the MLB to choose not to make this correct, makes me question their motives in choosing selfish pride, and image over doing things right. It is too bad that everyone doesn't see that. If it were you in Armando's place, I am sure your opinion would be different.
@byfordisaiah -- So, you pitched a perfect game in which the umpire called the runner safe on what should have been the last play of the game, and they had the ability to review the play and fix the mistake, and didn't? I have a hard time believing that your situation had the same details that this game had. I'll bet it was something close, but not the same. And your perfect game wouldn't have changed the history of a Major League Baseball game that hard working people pay a lot of money to see.
@krisbenham Well it owuld have sent our team to the little league world series instead we lost buy a run and we all cried afterwards so no not for big bucks nor would we ever be big league players but let say we did get the call we go to little league world series, and some of are seen on t.v. then you never know, much like had the ump not blown galarraga's call who knows right but again I am sure MLB will over turn it mine was never over turned. I still had "god" bless me with the no hitter.
@Mikel1234567891 -- It was changeable by Bud Selig, but he elected not to do so only moments ago. Obviously, fans will get over this and forgive for the mistake, but this will be a constant reminder of how far we are from being like we should be. Truly sad on many levels.

@krisbenham Fans? No. I am a die hard tigers fan.Just 16 years old. And i was about to witness the first perfect game in my teams history? No, there i no forgiveness. Ever. I will forever be scarred by this miserable event. I should have witnessed history. I sould have been able to tell a great story to my kids 10 years from now. But instead i have to tell them about how some umpire missed an easy call. It disgusts me. There is no forgiveness.
@byfordisaiah -- I do feel bad that something like this happened to you too, but it just isn't the same. My argument is about the fact that, by letting this stand, we are telling our young people that it is OK to make a mistake, and then refuse to correct that mistake because of your pride being too high. Everyone knows when something that is wrong can be fixed, it should be. No questions.
@krisbenham We are not we are telling them that people make mistakes and know one is perfect if your god or god gave galarraga the ability to picth the perfect game why not god or whom ever give the same ability to the ump the fact is no one is perfect, that is why we have bosses or people to make up for our bad calls and ideas, again I am sure he will get this overturned
@krisbenham How are we doing that I think we are telling them everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect no pun intended. You threw the worse word in there God your saying god gave galarraga the chance too through it but also gave the ump Joyce the chance to miss the call. All I am saying is that people mess up and Bud will fix this it is why he the boss.
