  • what do i have to do to make my 09 jeep wrangler unlimited like this?

  • well in texas u only have to have one mirror by law so i just use my rearview one

  • What would you do differently? I like the small lift and 33's less tippy... How do you like it? What would you change? I want a 2012 sept?

  • @bakerjk doesnt your kid get dizzy with all the movement?

  • Nice video but music is odd.

  • that kid will go back to pre-k on monday and be like, "you watched barney and friends marathon this weekend, my dad took me OFF ROADING!!"

    What a cool dad :)

  • is this the Badlands in Attica?

  • Is the Jeep Unlimited Mountain a good off roader compared to the Rubicon or is it just for looks?

  • JK Jeep Now

  • i have a 07 unlimited and i really want to be able to drive around with no doors, but i need to have my mirrors on, what kind is on there cuz i did see one on the driver side

  • @WranglinWreck It's just a cheap $14 mirror I got at auto zone. I can't see anything out of it, but it keeps me legal.

  • @bakerjk ok so i wanna understand this correctly: if you have mirrors on the pillar or hood you can drive around legally without doors? im a little torn between the Landcruiser and JK (will NEVER consider purchasing an FJ).

  • @WranglinWreck Quadratec has mirror relocation kits for cheap even comes with a piece u pop in to fill the stock mounting point.

  • @WranglinWreck There's also mirror relocation kits, mounts it to your windshield. There's even some that someone made that mounts to the rollbar using...I think it was muffler clamps.

  • @WranglinWreck Like baker said, go to an auto parts store and get a cheap mirror, a 5/16 x 2 1/2 inch bolt with a couple flat washers and a locknut. Mount it to your top door hinge and you're good!!!

  • @WranglinWreck

hey im 13 im not a know it all but i do, if you find the right wrinch you take the stock mirrors off and put them on the hood its a little labor but there should be a place you mount the mirrors pls reply and tell me what you think.

  • you could have floored it through there no problem. Drive it like you stole it. : )

  • music = wierd... cool jeep though your son has to be loving it on those rocks

  • Love it. Great video. You even had the little man in the back seat.

  • I'm not the biggest fan of the music, otherwise nice video.

  • I agree the music sucks! youtube took my music off and I had to replace it with this crap.

  • I personally like listening to the Jeep reving rather then any music..

  • @tmack1219 agreed

  • 5 stars ok =)

  • SO im debating on getting the unlimited or regular addition. Reason I want to get the unlimited is im expecting a family, reason for the regular is I always wanted to do some hardcore off roadin. My question is if I get the unlimited will I be disappointed?

  • The Unlimited will not disappoint you as long as you build it for what you will be using it for. The break over angle is not as good as a 2 door, so you will have to go bigger to equal the 2 door. The 4 door is a better climber and feels more stable at steep inclines and declines. I had on 08 2door rubicon too. I prefer the Unlimited.

  • If you put a lift on the unlimited it will have the same break-over angle as the 2 door. That's really the only diff between them.

  • false. bigger tires.

  • deluxe man...

  • I wanted a 2.5 lift in my jeep. It was next on my list... then I was told I was going to college and had to sell my jeep... :(

  • how do u like the 2" lift? i was thinking about getting either a 2 or 2.5"

  • Yes I'm happy with the lift. I have the Old man emu lift now. I'm getting 2.5 inches of lift. I think 2-2.5 is perfect for 33" tires.

  • yeah i've heard alot of good things about old man emu lift's. i'm looking at the AEV nth degree 3.5 in lift but i kinda would rather have the 2.5 cause i don't do much crawling. just alot of trails

  • I have a friend with the Aev. He loves it. The Aev handles great on the street and trail. If you go with 35" tires get the aev.

  • Great video! Good family fun! Keep it up. That JK goes and goes nice!

  • My three year old son was jealous of the kid in the back seat:)

  • Pretty freaking good for a Jeep with just a 2" lift!! great vid

  • this is sick. where is this? i'd love to take mine out there.

  • Badlands offroad park in attica Indiana

  • Make sure you have that kid secured good so angelina jolie doesnt jump out of the woods and try to add it to her collection. But seriously, cool video.

  • I'm looking at this thinking you must not have had your front locker engaged; no right front wheel spin when you weren't making it over the ridge. That would make a big difference; that challenge would have melted away with a bit more front wheel traction.

  • lockers make it too easy. I like the challenge of finding the right line.

  • I think it was the tires that let him down if he put some baja claws on there he would have been fine

  • i dont know whether i should get a 4dr jeep wrangler unlimited or a volvo C30 lol, i live up north so there is alot of bush here so the jeep could come in handy what you think would be better.. (this is my first car haha)

  • jeep all the way. way better rounded vehichle.

  • what do u guys think is better...2 door rubicon or 4 door rubicon?

  • I have a 2 door and a four door Rubicon. I prefer the 4 door unlimited for the extra room inside, and it rides a little smoother with the long wheel base. The 4 door is at a disadvantage when it comes to breakover angles, but a tall lift, good driving skills and a winch can overcome that.

  • thanx, what did you do to the one in thew video and roughly how much did it cost?

  • It had a 2" spacer lift and 33"s(295/75/16) tires

    lift was $125.

  • im gonna get a tj instead of the jk just cause it cost less and i cant afford the jk

  • Europeans always say americans can make vehicles... this is just a slap in their face..

    actions speak louder than words!

  • I just watched again and I guess that is where your vid started is on one of the climbs up to the orange trail rock sluice.

  • Its fun through there. The walls going up and down just to the right of where you are at (from the driver seat) get interesting and slick. I took my open front diff Dodge Raider through about a month ago. Before then I had always just stayed up top where you are in the vid toward the begining but finally tried the walls this year. Even though I did them I still want a front locker.

I wish I had a cameraman to track me like that. I hope to go again this year before the cold if money allows.

  • Nice Jeep! I have an 08 JK with Rough Country 2.5" budget lift running 33" (295/70/17) Nitto Terra Grapplers and 1.5" spidertrax spacers on stock. Nice to see what a jeep like yours can do with simple mods. Video looks sick!!! Keep Jeepin'

  • damn, that jeep looks amazing. I am saving up for maybe a 3inch lift and 35's. Do you, or anyone know if i would have to do any further modifications to it if i go with this set up?? Thanx O|||||||O

  • wht size lift and tire u got on this dude? yur jeep is sick

  • Thanks,

It had a 2" spacer lift and 33"s(295/75/16).

  • Nice bus. I got to have one now!

  • I planned on the 4" lift because of the flex, and only 33" because of the whole transmition recalibrationbut hell the 2" did well

  • if you go 4" the rear springs can fall out on full flex. Currie sells a spring retainer for $25 you might want to pick up.

  • hey man how much was the lift and the tires combined

  • rims $69 each

    tires $165 each

    lift $129

  • Nice vid Baker. Can't believe I haven't seen it until now. If I ever got a JK, it'd be silver with black wheels, your's just looks so good!

  • Love the kid in the carseat! Mine are 9yrs and 11yrs and love bouncing around the trails but I'd need them in 5 pt harnesses before I tried anything too vertical. Their friends treat the JK like it's a carnival ride, kids are used to it by now.

  • 3:15 seconds...very nice.

  • im jealous

  • i just got a jk, im going for the same lift and size tires as you, i was thinking about 3" and 35's but you look very able with 33's

  • 2" lift and 33"s you use the skids alot. Usually takes a little more momentum to crest steep hills and rock ledges. If you don't have to worry about people getting in and out easily, go 3" & 35's.

  • Whats funny is ,,, your kid seems oblivious to everything while IN the jeep, its not until he's on the sidelines watching till he gets excited! Love it!

  • SWEET!!!!!!!

  • what song is this?

  • White Zombie - More Human than Human (Meet Bambi in the King"s Harem Mix)

from the SuperSexy Swingin Sounds CD

  • Nice Rig

  • This is good for me. I'm doing a 2" budget boost and 33 inch Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip tires, i think/hope.

  • Nice video! That was some good stuff! Deserves 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What 2"bb did you go with?

    Looks great!

  • Go run Pink and shoot some video of that.

  • jeep 4 ever

  • Hummer what? Only in a Rubi

  • Hell yes!!! That's what it's all about!
