  • Dear Senator Menendez,

    I share a somber 9/11 with you...

  • "God Bless You Senator Menendez for Doing the Best Job You Can, for the People of NJ. God Bless All the Families, Friends, Relatives, Loved Ones Who Have Paid Freedoms Ultimate Price! God Bless All Our Service Personnel and Their Families Who Help to Keep us Safe Night, and Day! May God Bring Congress Together, as they came together on September 11, 2001 To Do What Is Right For America, and Her Citizens! God Bless America and President Obama!" -E

  • God bless you Senator Menendez, may the good Lord hear your words.

  • Sen. R Menendez

I have been happy to watch your sincere and thoughtful activities in the senate and outside to keep our country and our people in healthy and wealthy, I strongly share your reflection and personal thoughts on the 10th anniversary of the worst terror attacks on us.

  • I find all of Senator Menendez remarks as totally disingenuous because he has done everything humanly possible to keep illegal aliens alive and well in NJ being a staunch supporter of santuary cities here in NJ. Just the way he reflects on the 9/11 trajedy makes me want to puke. Why doesn't he recall that many of our attackers on that day were either illegally here in the US or had problems with their visas. Menendez is a diegrace and we need to move together as New Jerseyans to oust him.

  • Senator Menendez, I have been a supporter of yours since I moved to NJ 5 years ago. I respect your words and the emotions behind them. However, did you even consider giving up your place at tomorrow's memorial services to one of the first responders who can't get in because "there's no room for them."

  • I was driving into NYC to visit a doctor. On the NJTPK, I saw the first building hit, and I was astonished. As I turned around to return home, I saw the 2nd tower hit.

I did not know who to call first. The only one I could get through to was my daughter who had not heard the news.

It was truly a patheric sight. Sherwin J. Slater

  • God bless all the victims and their families during this difficult time

  • Very nicely said. It was a day that changed America forever. May God Bless you and your family Senator Menendez. Thank you

  • Senator Yours sense of oneness is incredible. And I as a Jerseyan appreciate

your relentless efforts to make us indivisible. My heart goes to the family who have lose their loved ones while appealing To the Almighty God to please to let us find mercy in His eyes. Please keep up the great work

  • God bless all the victims and their families during this difficult time and thank you, Senator Menendez, for your leadership.

  • Thank you Senator Menendez for your great comments. Your sincerity, your interest in all the victims and brave people that are ill today is very appreciated This video and many others show us, that we still have great politicians like you , to look after us. Every year on 9/11 is one of thos sad days in my life. Although I don´t live in the US at the moment, my heart will always be with all the Americans and in the United States of America.

  • Though like everyone who lived through the events of 9/11, I still feel the pain of the horrible loss of life, now 10 years later I find myself more disgusted than anything else. The pathetic way our government leaders reacted to the events of 9/11 sickens me to the core. A handful of mostly Saudi fanatics pull off a seemingly impossible attack of enormous proportions, and our leaders leapt on the tragedy to invade and commit random genocide upon a people who had no involvement. It's tragic.

  • At this time when we reflect on the events of 9/11 our politicans should think about why Bin Laden attacked the Trade Center. His purpose was to destroy this country by attacking our financial centers. in my opinion, due unwillingness of our politicans to act on the behalf of the American public at this time of financial crisis, they are continuing down the road Bin Ladin pointed us at. Washington, dont let Bin Ladin defeat us from his grave.

  • Thank you, Senator. My sister escaped from the inferno that was the World Trade Center/World Financial Center that day with the help of first responders. My family didn't know where she was or that she was even alive for 12 hours. I was struggling to find a way our of New York City, where I worked and still work. She and I go to the memorials every year because she lost 12 co-workers in the attacks. We also go to stand in solidarity with those who lost loved ones.

  • Thank you Sen. Menendez for your sincerity, and as always, for standing for what is right in giving back to the people who helped and who are now sick. I remember the way people treated each other afterward + thinking if anything good came from this, it would be people coming together and hoped it would have a lasting effect. But it seems people forgot that part too quickly, as we see more than ever now on Capital Hill.

  • thank you

  • Thank you Senator Menendez. We have never been invaded on our own soil, other than Pearl Harbor. We should stop dumping on Public Workers. They were the troops that day.

  • Thank You Senator Robert Menendez for the beautiful comments you made on this video for remembering all the victims of 9/11/0. I was watching Fox news with Shepard Smith when the first plane hit the tower. I have, and never will forget the loss of innocent lives that day in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington. My life has completely changed from that day with the horror committed in the name of God. Thank you for fighting for those brave people who are still sick from the rescue and recovery.

  • Did you forget the rest of the pledge under God that is what our country stands by and if you cannot you cannot be reelected in this great state or this great country because we are one nation under God and don't you ever forget it again!!!!!

  • II heard about Tower 2 falling on the car raidio. was not surprised, because I was up with the state of affairs vis a vie the Anglo-American, and the Arab world. E.G., the lack of respect and interest in Arab priorities .... the Palestinians, the pro-Israel bias, etc, etc. The attitude of the Anglos ; they don't have a millitary we need to fear.... so, screw them. The Arabs struck the only way they could. Remember that the one carrying the small bomb is the "terrorist".

  • @seamus742 And you wonder why we are at war...what are you thinking seamus? It amazes me how people think that killing in the name of God is ever right. It is views like yours that keep the wars going on. Is there nothing in your thinking that considers solving problems peacefully? The act on 9/11 just made more enemies for your people. So innocent people in both parts of the world will continue to die...for what Seamus? The animalistic nature of people who kill for nothing...
