I love the way this album was released, it was not mixed and mastered by a pro studio and you get to hear the nuances in the music that would otherwise be removed by a mixing engineer. It is definately a headphone masterpiece!!!

you gotta understand that Cody doesn't just make R&B, a lot of his stuff is kinda off the wall

if you get the Headphone Masterpiece do not expect smooth R&B like this, it's a lo-fi album that he did at his house on a 4-track recorder, a lot of the song on there are kinda experimental/ indie rock

lol pretty sure a lot of casual music listeners even know who he is, if only because of The Seed 2.0 single. Then again, I'll admit that I didn't buy The Headphone Masterpiece because even though he had a lot of hype/goodwill around the time it came out, it never really became that popular it seems, and I just forgot about it.
