This ride looks fine. I'd ride it, in fact I'd feel safer on this than most of the rides at Knotts Berry Farm. Besides, I'm pretty sure this dude knows what he's doing... he's had home made coasters in his yard for years and I've yet to hear about anyone getting hurt.

@cary19642003 Well considering he has had this for about 8 years now and has had people from all over the world come ride it and noone has injured themselves i think it is pretty safe. The problem these days is that people think that the redundant safety features are really needed on modern coasters. What is really needed is common sense. Really you could ride most coasters today with just a seatbelt but people are too stupid to ride them properly and so they have to add lapbars and such

@nightmaremeows No he is not in my family. I just met him when I decided to go out with my buddy and ride his coaster. We have since gone back every year to make a visit. We even went there this past year to take him skydiving. That video will be posted someday hopefully soon.

@Smay2599 well if you notice there is not really much wood on it. I would have gone with steel. Yes, when you buy a coaster it does come in pieces and you put it together. Though most coasters when you buy them they cost a couple hundred thousand to a couple million dollars. This cost about 5k to build from scratch.
