  • 戦いに油断して、頚動脈を打たれたらどうなるかは

  • Boy I m glad that the masters at the original shaolin temple in china do not go around showing off their highly secretive techniques for the whole world to see. Good that they keep the best only to themselves!

  • Class, today we will be practicing the art of the cheapshot. You there, lowly student, come here & let me hit you. Remember, no protecting yourself or fighting back, I'm the master here. Good, good, you're learning to make me look good very well. And that, boys & girls, is a cheapshot.

  • @BRUCEJJ66 "Balldrick, what starts with come here and ends in ow?"

    - "I don't know sir"

    "Come here Balldrick...."

    - "OW!"

  • Haha.... woooooowwwww... and this is why i will take shorinji tempo. Wonderful techniques and practices. And good moral thinking as well. Good... good.

  • lol nazi karateka

  • This BBC documentary was shown in the 80s. Master Bando is no longer with the living. And the token white guy (I believe) is living in NZ and an old man. He (still) is very fast.

  • @dreamadillo OK so I didn't click Show More which would have stopped me from repeating comments... Ah well.

  • @dreamadillo - token white, lol?

i thought that me and my brother was the only one's to use that

  • what we are watching here can be concidered an actual science. There a lot of people who claIm CHI POWER & it amounts to utter b.s. I have a feeling that what he is showing them is real. You can see the energy through this art. This is real chi. Not magical just a pure science. They know the energy of the bodie and how to disrupt it.

  • Good to advertise but as a result of offering too much information, we are now going to end up with a slew of (self-professed) 'Masters' selling this crap (as it will become after they're finished).

For "Mastery" can also be knowing when & what to show and when to be quiet!

  • @SensieSanzashi Yes i agree, especially with the last sentence: "For "Mastery" can also be knowing when & what to show and when to be quiet!"

The "secret" of "true knowledge", is to provide the students with hints, so ind the end the students will realise the answers by themselves, thereby ensuring a better/full understanding, and that they will know what they need to know, when they are ready. (those who have eyes will see...) ;-)

  • @SensieSanzashi you dont become a master just by looking to a demostration of just a few techniques, you become a master by knowing exactly how to make them and by practice them constantly in the correct way, so if you go selling this crap as you said, you will die of hunger

  • I really wonder with the teqniq

  • made me laugh when he said now IM GOING TO PUNCH YOU lol the other guy was like did he just say he was going to punch me lol them wammmm k.o

  • I think this was just the most awesome video i´fe ever seen on youtube. Knocking out people so easily... that´s what i love the asian people for, absolute knowledge and precision!!

  • ha ha, @5:05 master bando demonstrates the cold cock technique to render an opponent unconcious.

    nick barkley would be proud.

  • He chokes people out and knock them out cold! :))

  • Training after the black belt. My god.

  • Thats was very interesting :)

  • coolest guy ever.

  • 坂東先生ですか・・・若い・な

  • Bando sensei sugeeh...

  • Thats a real master!

  • woot man boob pinching ftw

  • 5 :09 the commentator says the blow was not powerful, thats BS, that was bone to skull connection

  • Nuh-uh; if its done right, he should get the small hollow on either side of the base of the skull.

  • This is a response to the people who are discussing the swastika symbol. It really doesn't matter the side the symbols is facing, it is still the swastika symbol, same meaning. This symbol has been used many times by different cultures on different centeuries. I insist... the facing doesnt matter it still has the same meaning... (according to my socials studiesteacher..., wikipedia (lol) and my dad (korean)) =x

  • What things mean, is just as different as people are. It can be an individual thing according to the relation, between the person and whatever the issue is.

What is good for you, may not be good for me etc.

"Normally" in symbolic terms, when a symbol is reversed, it gets an opposite meaning!!!

Now its my time to insist, on the fact that Hitler perverted the meaning of the swastika, from meaning something good, to instead meaning something bad, by reversing the swastika.

    (1) (to be continued)

  • Now I'm very well aware of, that Hitler himself (and his followers), believed to be doing something good. And that their version of the swastika, may have meant something good to them.

But we all know that (or the majority of mankind knows), that is the thinking of an psychopathic madman.

Please correct your teacher and your dad, about symbolic meaning... Thanks

    (2)

  • Another thing.

Hitler studied symbolic meanings, he took symbols from different cultures, and used them for his own pleasure. He took the Romans way of saluting/greeting each-other, etc.

Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source out there...

Educate yourself and try google this: why Hitler reversed the swastika.

    Peace ;-)

    (3)

  • well wikipedia is really reliable if you know how to check source, in regular searchs there are more trash info than in wikipedia...

  • Probably, but your still wrong about the swastika and why Hitler reversed it!

Please prove me wrong, and provide me with some reliable source about your claim, if you can...

I´m Danish, i live and was born in Denmark. A country that was occupied by Germany, during ww2. Denmark and Germany are "neighbors". And in school we where taught to speak German, i have been lectured about ww2 and Hitler. All because of that maniac, and even decades after the war.

    (1a) (to be continued)

  • If 90 percent of the information you google is stating the same facts, then theres a darn good reason to believe in it. And the source('s) is then presumably, much more reliable then wikipedia.

    (2a)

  • Before nazism, it didnt even matter if it faced left or right, and i highly doubt Hitler thought of himself as bad or evil, his swastika is a common indo-aryan symbol and the nazis at that time thought of themselves as decendents of aryans, even tho today we know the actual aryans are Iranian/alans/arains aka persians not european/germans. anyways his symbol if you noticed with tilted at a 45 degree angle, not its not your normal swastika anyways.

  • lol i did what the master on sjiatsu said i saw the vital spots chart and i pressed my arm vitals and i couldnt move it for a day and i had to go and let people see it lol.

  • its amusing the level of ignorance the west especially american have regrading another people's culture, history and what not. for a first world country it sure has alot of idiots. i bet if they saw a Kagome crest dey'll probably argue "hey isnt that the star of david" so are dey jew? course not, n a swatika isnt originally a nazi symbol eiher. go back too school people...lol

  • totally! i went to school in the bay area when i was a kid and drew a manji on my binder, a kid report it to the teacher and i got punished...

  • No WAY!? true?? : O

    (sorry can´t spell)

  • cool, I'll try them on my ninjutsu.

    thanks for the vid.

  • is ninjutsu very physical? or is it mainly about assasinating?

  • I haven't studied Ninjutsu, so I'm not certain. But I'm pretty sure that its mainly about: Deception.

Physical... in what way do you mean...?

To strengthen your body, the training is of course physical. But the techniques applied in a combat situation, doesn't necessarily have to be.

Instead, you try to use the opponents force and reverse it against himself, and by applying a minimum amount of force yourself.

    (A)

  • This all depends on, according to the situation/the opponent skills. (if both combatants are technically skilled, and both try to trick the other... they will have to use more force at some point.

    (B)

  • Your correct skytee71

  • Ninjutsu is about subsistence. forging and sharpening all of your bodies faculties in order to possess the means to accomplish any objective.

  • Neither one...My art is based on timing distance, leverage, balance no strenght what so ever. Our feet do the talking (Taijutsu=body works) Find a bujinkan school in your area. Bujinkan is the name of our organazation founded by hatsumi sensei...Goodluck

  • i c , so no body conditioning and hard training? because i think that is the most important part of training,,,

  • back in the old days of the bujinkan and some people still do.

  • Some do some dont, seeing that this is not fedual japan. I guess a-lot of people dont feel the need to harden their bodies, but thats up to the student disrection.

  • pleas.. ...... ...what?pleas help my anderstand you.what do you mean??

  • i love shorinji kempo, i practise it and i wanna learn this points, but i have to say, my favorite part in the movie is when he says: You could ofcourse also kick him in the groin, but it's not recommended as it would cause family problems xD

  • im must learn thats style

  • just look what the master said and search on google for a vital points statue =)

  • Please do not ever imagine that the Manji symbol on our uniform is the swastika. The manji, both right and left, but not twisted to its side as seen in the NAZI swastika, are religious symbols throughout Buddhism, Hinduism, and numerous other aspects of Eastern religion. The posts describing the swastika are pretty accurate already; the Manji is a symbol of power, rebirth, purity, harmony, respect and peace. Actually its even more complicated.

  • actually its the same symbol. however, hitler stole it from the hinduism.

  • And, just as an update, the World Shorinji Kempo Organisation (of which I am one of around 1.5 million members) has modified its symbol to reflect the harmony we strive to teach and to give in to the destructive mode of thinking that relates the Manji with NAZI-ism. Our founder was an ordained Buddhist monk, as was my instructor who was greatly recognized in the L.A. area.

  • LOL that sign on their uniforms meant peace but Germans took it and made it seem as a nazi sign

  • I like how they have swastikas on their uniforms OMG THEY'RE NAZIS

  • I guess you are joking...?

But in case you aren't... The Swastika is one of the oldest symbols in the world. (The Nazis stole it, and perverted its meaning, from meaning something good, to symbolising something bad.)

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix.

In short terms... it means: Well-being

  • Dude, you seriously fail hard.

The "swastika" as you call it, was called "Manji" in Japanese and it has two different tilts in religions such as Hinduism (as well as Buddhism), the one Hitler stole for his stupid motherfucking ambition was pre-nazi called "Ura Manji", and represented intellect and strength, while the one we use in SK is called "Omote Manji" and represents peace, love, mercy and all those good things.

  • Correction! (A)

Hitler didn't "invent" the swastika! (Actually no one knows, who really invented the swastika! The symbol is over 3000 years old.)

There was an Germanic order (A antisemitic group), that wore helmets with Wotan's horns, and the in-scripture: "against Jewish elements in German life", and curved swastikas on a cross, as an emblem.

  • (B)

In 1914 the German military youth-movement: "Wandervogel" made it to an national emblem. The Nazi party used it around 1920. Hitler was looking for a symbol for the party. He played with the idea of using the Swastika, but it was an dentist from Starnberg, Friedrich Krohn, who designed the flag with the black swastika in the middle.

  • okay so maybe it's really super old like more than a hundred years or whatever lol but that doesn't change it was the symbol of the nazis and everybody who sees it knows that it means kill jews this video is waaaaay after WWII so this guy should know what it means and know better its really disrespectful

  • "Things are, what people make them to be..."

You are right about, that many people(in the west), associates the swastika, with the Nazis and WWII... But that doesnt change the fact, that the symbol is still known and used by millions of people, for symbolising something good!(especially in the east, as it has been for thousands of years)

  • And it seems like that you are very hooked on, associating this symbol only with the WWII... which i think is sad. When the true is that the symbol has an much older and noble/good meaning then what the swastikas from WWII had.

As i said before: Things are what we make them to be...

  • The Swastika was originally a sign of good luck, and blessing.

  • Why would he change a symbol known for thousands of years just because some asshole misused it? You cant just change a symbol that is holy to them for 3000 years? thats absurd

  • that was the best thing I ever heard... !! youare´ the MAN!

  • Hitler.pleas..... he´s was I psyckoKILLER.... wy listen to retarded FruitLooom?!?!?!... pleas... he shoud never worn A uniform.... no.... more Like a StrightJAcket......... and his home shoud be in the KO KO nest....

    (sorry cant spell.not from around)

  • if you look more closely u can see this 'swastika' is not like the nazi one. this is a morror image of the nazi one. anyway its meaning and symbolism here is nothing to with the nazis in any way.

  • Reply from: "lordtains"

"no its really the same symbol. I'm certain. Hitler took it directly from the swastika because of the swastica's meaning for blessing and power(or even more important: brotherhood or something). If he took the Swastika directly..why would he mirror it?"

Sorry lordtains.. I accidently removed your reply. When i tried to reply to it..

  • This is my reply to you, lordtains.

All symbols(almost all) have an opposite meaning, when reversed.

Therefore, if we say that hitler believed the swastikas to mean: Peace

Then he reversed it, to mean the opposite: War

  • But the swastika (or Manji in Japanese) goes to the right. Didn't the nazi "hakenkruis" also go to the right?

Yes that's a very interesting thing you're saying. But Hitler believed that what he was doing was righteous, so I don't think he'd like a symbol meaning "War".

  • Theres such a double standard in western society. After the Nazi's did what they did they decided to ban the swastika in the UN and certain places in the US.

I remember in Elementary school they took down our Mural of Asian religions cause we had a Manji symbol on it(what happen to freedom of religion?). Would they had done the same if Hitler used the holy cross instead of the swastika in the past?

  • @anhkhoinguyen it is really and true rediculous personally i love the swastika it's a beautiful symbol. it's a shame our society is still childish enough to let hitler ruin it.

  • @moltenthoughts i believe the word swastika actually mean "to be good" can any1 else know of this, i dont know much other lang.

  • @Amishprn86 Yes! The word Swastika derived from Sanskrit. Meaning any lucky or auspicious object, and in particular a mark made on persons and things to denote luck.

It is composed of "su" meaning "good, Well" and "asti" meaning "to be", thus meaning "well-being", or as you say "to be good". (from wikipedia)

  • Hmm, Master bando is ont the right person to fuck whit i think

  • precise vital point hitting is really the key in killing people though we must remember that every master has a discipline so if you yourself wanted to be a master you must have discipline!

  • it's Filipino not Philippino!

  • Too bad Bando Sensei died though.... =/

  • Wow... I knew about the usage of those "vital points", but I didnt know they were used in shorinji kempo.

Ive been practicing shorinji kempo for somewhat 2 years now and DAMN (!) I want to learn those thechniques. Guess I have a looooong road ahead of me. =/

  • Been in MA for over 30 years, Im impressed. Its good to see a teacher that actually can teach.
