somewhere or Sylvie Vartan who was from somewhere else.
I was referring to citizenship (passport). Piaf and Aznavour were of immigrant descent but they were French citizens when they became famous. If you go by descent half the celebrities are "foreigners". People like Adamo and the Singing Nun were Belgian citizens even if they sung "chanson française" (French Song in the braodest sense)
