Great that folks are still appreciating this Guys talent. Most folk who see him are pretty competent guitarists themselves so high praise rightly deserved. And what is nice is that he is a real nice bloke. Lets not forget that as good as he is, he is part of a great band that allows him to weave his magic....
In my opinion Jerry has been at the top ever since I first knew him in the early 70s in a band called Alias. The sounds he could get from a guitar in those days were in a class of their own - as well as those instruments made by his father! So glad I've found his music again.
I saw the guys in the Locomotive in Venlo (Holland) in 94 or 95. Stayed there for the whole gig! Absolutely awesome! If you haven't seen them, you really do need to!!
You can see jerry with chris rea, just type chris rea beat club 1983, there is a whole concert and also rockpalast, zeche bochum, again a whole concert, lilybee is the uploader.
I first saw Jerry, Bob and Dave do this at The Lazy toad in Beckhanem, back in 1990. It was an instrumental then, and reminded me a lot of albatross. They were the first band i ever saw live, aged 16. I'm 36 now, and still see them regularly in Southend. I REALLY wish they would release a live version of this. Agree also, Jerry is a TOP bloke, and should be a household name!
I agree Jerry should be a household name, one of the best and nicest muiscioans I have the pleasure to meet. Dave. ( ps: thanks for the posting, more please!!!)
i watch jerry play every monday, hes amazing, ive seen bob (drummer) aswell hes stupidly good aswell, be sharp are an amazing band, buy their albums if u ever get to see them! their album named "play this" is the album of song they have made up which infact is where this song comes from :) its such a good album i listen to it 24/7 :) get it if u can!
I've been seeing them since 92, just missed the dave bronze era, who i believe wrote this song. He of course went on to great things with Eric Clapton. Also R.I.P Andy Brown.
Hey, nice to see some Jerry on YouTube. Been watching Jerry play since about 1989 and BeSharp since they started. Interestingly if you do a search on Barbara Dickson you will find some more Jerry, although slightly different style. Also some vintage Bob Jenkins and Andy Brown, the bass player before this one.

Jerry Stevenson is one of the best guitar players I have ever seen. And probably has one of the best voices on the UK circuit. Total class.

Great to see Be Sharp on here. I've been going to see them since about '91. And Five Miles Above is such a cool track.

Don't mean to name drop ;) but my current drum teacher is friends with Dave Bronze, such an amazing bassist. And yes Dave did write this one.

Jerry is a Gof to all that have seen him play. Why he isn't a massive name guitarist beggars belief.

Jerry is a god to all that have watched him play.
Why this man isn't a huge star is beyond belief.
