for those who dont know how freeman got captured:

in half life 1 after gordon is fighting ninjas or whatever they are he got in a room full of suplies

and the marines wait for him there and when he got in there he was beat up by them

then at 8:15 you can see them carry freeman and he waked up in a squishing room :)

and he finds a crowbar and escaped in a vent thats the story

gordan freeman is in 3 parts of opposing force too and gman is a douchebag the times you see him, like when you shut the bomb off & he turns it back on & when your running to the helicopter & and he shuts the door on you.

lol you can see gordon in the begin w/o his suit in this game. He's in the tram behind u as soon as u get off when u cant enter the door and the guy behind it opens it for u.

He's also on a security camera in the security room lol and u can see him here to funny

no you happen to teleport into a room next to the corridor where they take gordon to a trash compactor. the intertwined plotlines make this probably the best game everrrrr :D

Always found the Blue Shift ending very satisfying in its own right. Somehow hearing Dr Rosenberg utter the lines "I just want to get out of here" was a very welcome change after the usual "There is something big out there, and if you dont stop it, no one will..."

I think this is a remake with the source engine when they made it, which was after the original release of Half-Life. They also have Half-Life:Source. Same game as original with better graphics.
