Good job! One thing I was curious about is whether the values and "traditions" presented in the movie are the same in Israel as in the play. (I'm honestly curious and not intending to offend.)
HARDLY. They represent very specific religious communities. But Israel, by and large, is a secular country. Many people no longer bother getting married (let alone using the help of a match maker), certainly nobody asks for the father's permission... Yes, there are some backward minorities, but they are the exception, certainly not the rule.

Thanks! I would have to say that yes the traditions are the same, but the presentation in Israel was more authentic and less "American Movie".
