  • @Iftikhar1312 things that i found helped me (however no guarantee it will help you because each person has unique hair)... expose your hair to sunlight esp. your hair follicles. Just don't overexpose them.. the sunlight supposedly helps growth. vitamins. nutrition. always important. also, watch what you use for washing your hair. seriously. plus don't 'over wash' your hair. wash it as much as it needs not as much as society dictates. plus brush root to tip and be gentle with it. :-)

  • her hairs soooo pretty. thumbs up if you agree

  • @MzMinnie789 i'm a bit biased yet i agree.. gave you a thumbs up!

  • The glare makes you look like an angel! lol bless you and ur hair :D

  • @mrsaynotodrugs wow. didn't realise. cool huh ? thank you !!!

  • @Iftikhar1312 if you "get to know" your hair (as hair does have its own personality), avoid using Pantene + similar products which only work for as long as you use THEIR product, brush everyday ROOT to TIP, let the sun dry your hair instead of a blow dryer and not use too many products on it... and lastly:

    patience.

everyone has different growth rates for their hair plus a bit of genetics comes to play as not everyone can actually have floor length real hair (that is healthy).

  • i wish my hair was that long (T_T' )

  • @na0mi0 if you actually care for your hair you can have it as long as you desire! The key is to not use too many "products" or "appliances" on your hair. Let the sun dry your hair. Brush it every day. Wash it when it needs to be washed. Avoid Pantene or similar hair products (because they only work for as long as you use them). etc.

  • im in awe of ur videos.. i realli like em.. u r special... just like ur hair.. culd u do a version wherin u just sit in front of the cam n comb ur hair for 10 mins.. nuthin else? just wanna c u like dat! .. i cant help it but look at ur vids at least once a day! makes my day .. have a good one :)

  • @melburrniaan hey hey :-) :-) I've got a lot of requests however recent events concerning my hair will mean it might actually be another year unless I opt for hair extensions which I will not as that is not what I want... or unless someone wants to donate towards the cause (the cause being "save my hair!")

  • Hi, thank you for sharing this vid, you look beautiful but taking light source towards to camera isnt a good idea, lighting source (sun, lamp, spotlight etc..) must stand behind the camera for better vid. ;)

  • Thank you so much silkyhairfan for the heads up (the tip). I'm no professional and thus I will use what you said for my next video... I might have to do it by placing the camera on the tv and filming it that way in future ?

If I do.. oh..noo... you'll see my shitty unit for how crappy it is!! HAHAHAHA

Because it was done very spur of the moment I have to apologise for the lighting.

  • Dont wory about your shitty unit, i dont think anybody will focus any other thing except your lovely hair 8-)

  • Hey silkyhairfan... had to remove two other comments as they were duplicates. Please be aware that all comments to all my videos are moderated by me... so just be patient and I will get around to approving it. :-) I'm no comment nazi. I've let all sorts of comments thru. Just trying to keep the spam to a minimum :-)

....and yes. you are probably right LOL!!

  • Im really sorry, i just realised how the moderation system works.. page said "comment pending.." and i thought it maybe because of system busy and my comment didnt send. Take care yourself.. with my best wishes...

  • 'Tis okay... you're not the first and you won't be the last to realise that the comments are awaiting moderation :-) LOL

  • I know this is a hair video, but I love your voice. >.>; That, aaaand the accent. n.n;

Anyway, you're right! It looks like there aren't any split ends. Maybe a little bit of damage? Or just a little dry, I suppose. =3 Still, your hair is looking great. 8D

  • Thank you Cornball ... I guess I should talk a little more in my videos ? Sometimes I do come over "real" Aussie (my accent will get "thick") ... lol! As for being a little dry, yes and no. My hair gets oily before it gets dry. Oily at the top, dry on the ends however this was done before I had my shower that day.

I'm going to do a progress update on the ponytail plait as I swear I've gotten better. Now all I have to do is find the time to film it, edit it, upload it etc.

  • Haha, yes! =P Talking shall not be discouraged =}

If you find it gets oily at the root before the length, a boar bristle brush can help. It spreads the natural oils the length of the hair n.n

  • Hi Gold Coast Girl,

Greetings from Wales, in mid winter, very envious of the strong sunlight coming thro' the blinds. Wow, yes, beautiful hair, a forward shampoo over the sink, please please please.......you are lovely.

    Best wishes from the speedbird.

  • Hey Speedbird... no problems ! Thank you.... and maybe I should do a video right now because that lovely sunlight is no where to be seen at this very moment. It's been a bit rainy / wet lately here on the GC. Thus it has been actually a little bit cool(er) than normal... glad I brought some "warmth" to Wales! :-D

Stay subscribed.... I will do one... first I want to do a progress "check" on my ponytail plait... followed by another special wet hair video before... then... :-)

  • great to hear from you cant wait to see that wonderful hair all lathered up

  • You... and it seems quite a few other people. Before I do a "lathered" up version (shampoo/wet hair video).... I do want to do a special one before it. It's still a wet hair video however you'll see what the difference is... hehehehe :-)

  • this is dead cool! when you do your wet hair one can you do some wet combing and making different partings, combing it one side to the other and such? i always think that looks so sweet ;)

  • As much as I don't like to touch my hair when it is wet with a comb (I was warned of this peril a loooong time ago).... I'll do it once only for the video. Nice suggestion (about the parting).. didn't think of it.. I guess I do that naturally so as to make brushing/combing my hair easier (because it's thick not just long).

For everyone else: DO NOT COMB YOUR HAIR WHEN IT IS WET! Your hair is at its weakest when wet so please wait until it is dry before you comb/brush it.

  • Soothing like a massage video.

  • CHXXX17 all comments have to go thru moderation before being posted thus I had to remove two of your pending comments as they were duplicates :-)

Thank you ! There is a part 2 which is linked at the end of this video :-)

  • @GoldCoastGirl yeah man i was wondering like why the fuck its not taking any of my comments

  • The only reason I do this is not because I'm a comment nazi (I've let plenty of comments thru) ... it is only so then I can come back and reply! I don't visit YouTube as part of my general daily internet habits as such.

It might take a week or so sometimes to see the comment approved only because this girl is busy (I've got a life LOL.. well.. work more like it)...

  • love the latest video, cant wait to see you shampooing, hopefully forward over the kitchen sink, keep on growing your fabulous hair

  • Hey Forklift86 :-) thank you.. it was as like my other hair videos.. very "spur of the moment" and you've got the un-edited footage. The only edit-ing is that it is split in two parts (as mentioned at the beginning).

I'll be doing two different we hair / shampoo videos: one of me doing it in the shower. Another over the kitchen sink.

As for growing my hair, I would if it would ! LOL! It's kinda stopped or has been that length for 6 months now.
