  • have you tried using springs to pull the magnets back down? just strong enough to pull them back down but not so strong that they dont allow them to move.

  • he has 11 magnets there...or does he? The are spaced so close, that is the flux was viewable, it would be treated like one magnet, that's why none of these experiments have magnets all the way around the circle.

And I'm only a high school graduate -.-

  • that's getting better!

maybe if the separation field of fixed magnets is given in a horizontal plane instead of a vertical pendulum? via the same acrilic spacer?

    Keep going!!!

  • you wil never ...ever ever create a motor that uses just magnets ... but if you were to incorporate another force to augment the megnetic force you may have success...

  • Then you've just created a normal motor, by using AC current, or by using brushes to alternate DC current you produce alternating magnetic fields.

  • I can see great potential for this ...as the new "wheel of fortune"

  • Your magnets are too weak, and if they were stronger, and either way their positions are wrong, the magnets on the disc should spiral towards the center, and your top plate is completely the wrong design.

You should never have more than one outer magnet up.

    (post limit)

  • You're supposed to knock the outer magnets back down while your spiral (inner magnets spiraling towards the axle, something you did wrong) is still next to it, it's only supposed to be lifted before the FIRST (outer most of the inner) magnets goes by, then immediately knocked back down, SO THEY CAN EXERT FORCE ON THE SPIRAL TO PROPEL THE MOTOR!!!! That's the MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!!!!!

I don't understand how people have so much trouble with such simple designs.

    (post limit)

  • Knocking the magnets back down after your spiral has already passed them, not only wastes the potential magnetic force to propel your wheel, but also leaves them down to provide more resistance for the next pass around.

  • wacthing vids like this makes u wana be a scientest lol

  • Face it, this would not be the first time that a long held understanding has proven to be incorrect. I.E. ( The world is flat, The earth is the center of the universe and all the planets and stars revolve around us, If man were meant to fly we would have wings, Flying faster than the speed of sound is impossible.) Until the day that gravity and magnetism is fully explained and understood, then nether, you nor I, can clam what is possible and not possible.

  • hey buddy try looking up torbay motor the guy who actually created it is selling it in argentina and has the pattent for it so next time gspotter if ur name doesnt make u look foolish enough maybe try doing some research

  • What ? Did the maker of the universe come down here and give man the laws of physics?

    NO!

Let us not forget that the laws of thermodynamics and the conservation of motion are laws that we humans developed from observations. If sad observations were incorrect then the laws built form them are incorrect.

  • Magnetic fields are fascinating. Though one could argue that many claims are contrary to accepted physical laws, e.g., conservation of energy, motion & thermodynamics. No one has to accept them at face value. Though it is often instructive to study these laws. With that knowledge, we can then create a hypothesis & design an experiment to prove or disprove any of those laws. It's not always easy, but it's worthwhile. One final thought: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

  • Consider... The energy required to remove bit of iron from a magnet does not depend on the route the bit of iron takes to escape...just the magnetic field at the start point and end point. It's the same with gravity. Understand this and you see why magnet motors cannot work and why shields don't help.

  • What a bunch of losers. Have you never heard of the conservation law?

  • laws are meant to be broken, take a look at light. take a look at planes, old "laws" said that we couldn't go faster than the speed of sound.. well now we can, and sound is now considerd "slow"

  • put a ramp to up the magnet, use mecanical strategi to avoid magnets. using magnets again will put you on ouroborus. like 2 stages oscilator you need 90 dregree from on concept to another and turn from magnet to move, and move to avoid magnet maybe is the solution. If you have a well oriented magnet, just a move can take it out from the field and you can save energy to stay rotating. dont use elastic material. gravity is elastic as well

  • but springs on the rams ( the magnets that go up and down)

  • i think i may have a salution for ur motor. please contact me by email for further discusion.. thankso so much for ur time. sensearly robert

  • nicelly think but hav you think of a system of cam to put your cam up and a spring system to bring it down at the right moment , all of this look like a explosion engine system thing about it and good luck! ;)

  • the revolution must push the top hat up being heavy. The weight of the hat to push pull ratio would be super precise

  • you need to over come the flux gate of the magnetic field

  • I've followed your posts at overunity. I like your shielding idea and design. Post a video of that when you get it put together. Good work.

  • You are forgetting about gravity in the equation!

    Think about it!!!

  • Very cool

  • how about using some springs to hold the arms down?

  • that looks very good, i think the only problem is to keep it moving you need to align the magnets so that it attracts and repels every other magnet.

  • have you tried pulling your magnets inward like a spiral configuration yet? Try putting the magnets on the end closer to the center but don't move their angle...just their position, make them closer to the center of the disk..I'm building a magnet motor of my own very soon too.
