Fucking AWESOME to see such a badass 4th gen 'lude. My first car (and first love) was a '93 VTEC, the second year of the 4th gen and first year VTEC was offered in the US in anything other than the NSX. To this day it's the best car I've ever owned, which includes a couple Lexus SC's (300 and 400), a BMW 318is, and Acura CL-S. Badass car here, properly built engine with properly built turbo/plumbing. I salute the owner/tuner of this sick 4th gen!

hahaha nice! i saw a hatchback civic do almst the exact same thing it was turbo and it was against a 02-04 mustang cobra (kenne bell supercharger most like or even after market , for i know mustangs are good at going in straight lines but this thing just grabbed the ground and seemed like it pulled the pavement towards the car instead of the other way round but the lightweight civic hatchbk spooled up that turbo and bearly beat him @ 11.57 to 11.72 hehe

I have a question for everyone, I have a 93 Honda Prelude with a 96 Jdm H22a obd1, but my engine cracked a year ago, so we covered it with silicone, and it runs good but not like before. So i bought a newer engine, a 97 Jdm H22a vtec Obd2, but like i said is obd2. What do i have to change so my Prelude can run with the 97 H22a? Can i still use the p13 ecu, or can i buy a ecu converter?

@5spd5thgen Winning = winning, the whole point of the race is to be quicker over the white line then the opponent. And the Camaro did have a better start, but still the Prelude did win, which I say is a wonderfull achievement for the Prelude because it only has 4 cilinders.

Heh, The prelude had a slower reaction time too, making it that fragment of a second more better in that top end. Keep in mind though, those v8 chevy engines DO NOT drop power, the power band is straight line all the way through the gears, had this been a longer race, the chevy would have kept on chuggin hard, and the prelude would have topped its performance out, and the chevy would have won.

I just say this from my experience with both honda's and camaro's :). My first Del Sol with b16 swap in it hit peak power in 5th gear at 5,500 rpm i think it was (it died a few years back :/) but looking at the dyno graph was obvious, goes up, peaks, then goes down. Then i had 94 camaro z28, dyno had a straight line, to my surprise, the accel from 60-100 is the same as the accel from 20-60, nice, even, straight line (it tops off from wind resistance, but i pushed it to 143mph on a downhill)

The chevy just has a lot of torque so it'll jump off the line way quicker, but once the turbo in  the 'lude kicked in, it caught up easily.
