I listen to a lot of my favorite singers and try to imitate until I'm comfortable with my imitation...

A lot of singing in the shower, too. lol

The control comes from the diaphragm...because he's got good control over that muscle he can control the amount of air he exhales...if u can do that u can control the note better.
