  • Hey I loved this video great work! I have paint chipping on my bumper in such a wide area that filling by hand each one would not make sense. To repair such a job should I fill the paints chips with filler then sand and then paint?

  • Beatiful work. I want to fill in some licence plate braket holes. Its a new bumper and imeondering if the whole bumper will need repainting..

  • @lestliness You can blend in the repair like I did in the video, that is put color coats on the repair and extend them into the untouched bumper but you should clear the whole thing.Make sure you taper the holed well on both sides to give the adhesive some surface to stick to...

  • @bsgautomobile Thanks for the tips.. I'm actually having a body shop do the work. However I like to have an idea on what it takes to do this kind of work so that when I talk them I'll at least sound like I know what I'm talking about. I wish you were here in California, I'd have no problem spending the $500 or so to get these ugly holes patched.

  • good video man! keep it up lots of info here!

  • That tape on the bottom looks like speedtape used in aviation..

  • The back bumper of my car is been cut.I need to glue that. what type of glue can I use for that?plz answer me.Its a 2001 camry.

  • how much would the average body shop charge for a job like that?

  • @davids8aff Hi David, a bumper job is roughly around $500 depending on the state of the bumper...some require more work and some colors are more expensive. This one was around $480 if I can remember well...

  • @davids8aff it would be about $250 - $300, many shops rip you off and say it will be $500 or more. Trust me.

  • @cipher348 i bumped someone and im really afraid of this... it shouldnt be more than $100

  • Very impressive

  • what type of urethane adhesive did you use?

  • @EastCoastModZ Its epoxy actually, I use the evercoat flexible plastic system... I really like the way it sands quickly and cleanly...

  • Very impressive video. Nice work!
