This band came out in the late 80's when the radio was too busy playing Motley Crue and White Snake to even notice a paradigm shift in music.

HELMET are legends.I shouted out at the time it was told, that Helmet was back. I could now see them live & gonna c'em 17/11 in Denmark. Page is the boss, but I admit that Stanier's drums were just amazing, for me as a drummer.The snaredrumsound does, that u can hear it's Helmet even before the guitars or vocals have started.Maybe they were too way ahead of the other bands at that time.Cause I don't think they've got the respect they should.Even Pantera used the Stop'nGo riffs Helmet invented...
