Any device that can run a web browser, high resolution video and 3D video games at decent resolution and framerate, should also be capable of running most office software. The only practical limitation here is screen- and keyboard size - but there's no reason why a larger screen and keyboard can not be connected to this platform.
It's not going to replace a high-end workstation, but i expect the next generation of this tech to find its way to the desktop.
But just to save weight and added battery life (and when am I really way from a power socket that long), I will not be able to install any proper software.
Sorry, wasn't clear enough there, the problem isn't the hardware, but rather the software, as a lot of work has to go into fine tuning things and coding a nice front end for Windows CE, more details in our video tomorrow.

Windows CE? Ugh!
This is a souped up mobile phone!

You're not far wrong there, as it's using very similar technology, but is this really so bad?
It gives you great battery life, passive cooling and a very slim and light device. It's not going to replace a real PC, but it's not meant to either.

Later this year, we weren't given a specific date, but it's unlikely to be before Q4

As said before: fail because of glossy. But this version has an ugly lid color too ;)

Hahaha, well, pink is only one option, so no need to panic ;-)
