This is classic Jazz Fusion drumming. not put in the death guitars and you see that they are one and the same. Romain is an amazing drummer but i think that Flo from Cryptopsy is better. just my opinion.

Flo is good, but he doesnt control his speed. He tried to be too fast and fails. His speed at about 240bpm is perfect, but he tries to go beyond that and do 300bpm grinds and rolls and he almost always misses his rolls, or you can barely hear anything because he taps the snare and toms so damn lightly.

Jazz is so much more difficult than metal!! When you hear a fast rhythm in a jazz song and it almost sounds like it's just poop.. That's where you're wrong! ALL of the things a drum jazz player plays is figures that he will come up with! When you hear a fast rhythm then it is worked out really good! The drummer just takes it up to another level of speed! It explanes how much talent you need to be a really good jazz player!
