i think the real reason why the fall of the 80's became to be was because there were so many good bands with talent getting signed and eventually everyone got sick of all the hair and the mind blowin flashy guitar solos....idk maybe i might be wrong any opposing viewpoints? i still love the 80's it sucks that there isnt music now like this, now you gotta have tits and ass a nice sixpack to be musically inclined

Tindrum's first album, "Drums Of War" is one of the best albums from Norway ever! I got it on cassette. I got two of it, actually ;)

Diesel (drums) formed Tindrum, with Tove (Teigberget) (lead vocals), Sid Ringsby (bass guitar & backing vocals) and the genious Trond Öien (guitar & backing vocals).

And they made amazing music! Tindrum was best with Tove.

Anyway, awesome band and music! :)

I don't agree. I think the 'Drums Of War' album is just awesome. I know it sounds a little "kind", but it's great! "Rain", "Midnight Dynamite", "Drums Of War" and "Horoscope" are amazing songs. I think that most of the material was fucking good! :)

If you meant TNT's debut which they sing in Norwegian I think that one was kind of embarrising. It sounds like some Norwegian kids broke into Ronnie Le Tekro's studio and recorded an album using a toy drum set recently stolen from a local Toys 'R' Us. But Dag's voice grown up after that debut with TNT and became a strong singer in Tindrum. I would consider "How 'Bout This!?" as a masterpiece if it wasn't for "I love to love" (that song sucks). But the hooks on the cd are massive!! Phenomenal!

There are 9 brilliant songs and just one song that doesn't fit with the other (I love to love). But it's a great AOR CD imo! Their first release with Tove was more hard rock oriented and less commercial.

You can't go wrong with TNT's Intuition, Tindrum's How 'Bout This!? and Evenrude's One Size Fits All. The best albums coming out from Norwegian rock.

Yes, he was ex TNT singer wasn't he? And with this release (How Bout' This!?) along with Return's To the Top and TNT's Tell no Tales are the best coming out from Norweigan rock. But the first two mentioned albums are high classy Scandi AOR with catchy hooks. Too bad that Return turned mellow on Attitudes and became a uninterested band. And I didn't cared much for Da Vinci either. Meh..

I remember this song in '89 they played this often on Swedish radio along with Swedish cult classic "R.O.C.K" by Sha-Boom. Tindrum with Dag was one of the best bands from Norway imo. Their '89 release "How Bout' This" blows Da Vinci and Return out of the water.
