yeah when you hear them shouting out "it's Ron E y'all" they mean Ron Estill, the guy who produced the beat. total dilla flave to it, but gotta give credit where it's due, dilla made plenty of bangin beats for us to praise him for :)

idk bout yall, idk how i manage to do it... but i like to listen to dilla in increments if yu feel me. like i can go a couple weeks listenin to nothin but, and then the following week or so i jus stray off to another type of music. i think it makes his music a lil more golden, and you can DEFINITELY easily decipher which songs/productions have soul and which dont. you just get a certain vibe from dilla, you can feel it in your soul

If you type in LSK "Love or Hate" you can find the video to the original version. I have this version on a cd I copped many years ago. I hope this info was helpful.
