  • GOOD LUCK BRIGHTS!

cheers from an atheist in Egypt.

  • We need to organize a lobby.

  • Just bought my plane ticket today, and I am so very excited!

  • Hey i cant go because i live to far away! how can i support this!

  • Can anyone sponsor two young college student atheists to go to this rally??? I'd love to go but I just cant afford it. :(

  • I wish I could attent

  • I'm going there, and i'm meeting Richard Dawkins. He wants to meet my friend, and i'm not leaving my friend's side at any time haha. We are gonna meet him twice. Hell to the yea.

  • I want to be there! sounds like soo much fun! Adam savage he is awesome :P

mythbusters = great entertainment :P Been watching it from since I was 16 :D

  • @ItIsBadForU Tim Minchin would also be a fun guy to hang out with

  • Damn I wish I could be there... Just can't afford to go across the country...

  • I will be there!

  • Oh my God! (oh the irony) I have to gooo!! D:

  • really wish I could go....... unfortunately I live in the UK :(

  • I <3 this voice. And the face is great, too :)

  • Come one guys, if you're smart enough to view this video you can muster up one more click to make sure it never see's red.

  • @riothero313 What? Red?

  • on my birthday :D

  • I am goind to visit Washington DC during the month of march (I am from Quebec, Canada). I have to fit this in my schedule!

  • I was expecting someone completely different...

  • i want to be there. but i cant i live way to far away and i am lower class wish i could go but next time right?

  • Will this be an annual thing? I would KILL to go but unfortunately I cannot make it.

  • I wish i could go, next time.

  • tbh i think all who believe in a god should be put in a well padded room and be class as mentally insane cos how many of them commit crimes and say 'god told me to'

  • you had me at richard dawkins i would so join but i live in the uk where we dont have the problems with Christians as their not out spoken like american Christians our problems are Muslims who want all the rights of British people but dont want to follow the law

  • Didn't Richard Dawkins die?

  • @landwalker88 No, You're possibly thinking of Christopher Hitchens.

  • @landwalker88 no christopher hitchens

  • @colbour sadface :(

  • tooo bad i live in switzerland this would be so cool for me! have a great time to all who will attend this event! <3

  • Good luck from the middle-east. I wish I could be there... maybe next time :)

  • Wish I could go.

  • I like the clarification that this will be a positive event rather than religion-bashing. I think the rationality community has enough to contribute that it doesn't need to be contrarian to succeed.

I live far too far overseas to attend there... But maybe we can hold a local event at the same time? Need to look into that :)

  • @AidanVaroloWhite7

We would fight back with our reason :)

Oh yeah, and our civil rights.

  • @AidanVaroloWhite7 You must be very stupid then.

  • i wish i could go but i cant. there is still Rock Beyond Belief on the 21st though. :)

  • I love Tim Minchin..... though I like to call him Jim Pinchin....

  • March 24 is my birthday.

  • Just a shame Pat Condell and "Joniversity" won't be there.

  • guys, just move to canada.

    we have a secular gov't

  • yay secular event! can we do this more often?

  • Yes!

  • GOD DOES NOT EXIST! I know, he told me.

  • Wow watergun is a dick

  • Wow, no women will be featured as speakers. How "reasonable" is that?

  • @TheSugnim Uh what? Check out the full list at their official website, seven of the speakers are female.

  • @TheSugnim This video obviously didn't feature all the people who will be taking part in the event. And you are just picking and choosing how you want to be offended... You could have said "no black people" or "no Mexicans" or "no Jews." Its not as if the secular community excludes women, there will be thousands of women there! The people who denigrate women are the religions who preach that women are a lesser creation.

  • EVOLUTION IS A 100% FAIRY TALE!!!

  • @Watergun8770 Only if you can't read, did someone have to read it to you? When you learn to read and think on your own, you'll see it is supported w/ millions of FACTS and is unambiguous. Poor little water pistol.

  • @Watergun8770

Written like someone with a stunning ignorance of the biological sciences. Pull your head out of ancient mythology and get your learn on.

  • @Watergun8770 trollolololol

  • I wish I could go... I'm british and at school :/

  • Wouldn't it be crazy if another Crusade's event popped up with the hardcore religious thinking we are making the planet evil and all out civil war ensues.

  • That is the first time I have ever seen your face, Seth. Be proud!

  • Tim Minchin! Awsome =D Also Dawkins, ofcourse.. and everybody else. It sounds great. And it's somewhat weird to see you while also hearing your voice =P

  • If it actually was a religion bashing event, I would attend.

  • @derekw1572 Amen. I would, too.

Sad that they're going to wimp out. I'm not spending hundreds of dollars to travel and stay at a local hotel to attend a rally just to wimp out and to endlessly be preached at "don't be violent".

I'll save my money to attend the Green Party convention in Baltimore in July 2012.

  • That's what you look like? I always imagined you as an old man :D

  • Since the AGE OF ENLIGHTMENT we humans can here in the USA commence to show the AWAKING which is occuring, that humans with their lies and TOOL of RELIGION can not keep us in the DARK as in the past that (Secularism) exist because of HUMANS that fought till this present moment and all the ones that have been tortured, incarcerated and murdered for being FREETHINKERS they paved the road to light & with our tool of SCIENCE to TRUTH. Understand HUMANBEHAVIOR & ABSORB the past of ALL to TRULY SEE.

  • LMAO (of course you have to choose ) or they choose for you ??? I stand from a perspective which i see this world from a platform which humans in a belief system cannot ever reach, That all religions have a human origin and that diifers from others depending of where you where born and which is your nationality, That the only reason a hispanic male is the majority christian is because the spanish conquistadores decimated the MESOAMERICA belief system OPEN YOUR MIND READ READ READ on your OWN ..

  • I do not know why some secularists believe that those who do not think like they do, do not like to read, books that are not the Bible, of course you have to choose what you read.

  • Can't believe they got Tim Minchin there.

  • Sorry, if I really believed it was truly a "Reason Rally" and not a "religion bashing event" I would be tempted to go.

  • @memonk11 Oh no

  • @memonk11 why the automatic assumption? just because it means to show logic over fantasy

  • I think we should pray for the conversion of all these poor people with no religión who think secularism is beter than Religion...

  • @jorgeramirez01 I think ppl need to read besides a A book to become consciously aware of the circumstances we human-kind find ourselves in, that the human behaviour that we see is as the same we saw in our past, that men have derailed us with these negative behaviour(s) since the times of our ancient civilizations That only by reading and absorbing the truth from all regions in this world will you really understand whats happening. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE READ READ READ .....

  • @geminis183rd THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE that's true, READ READ READ (The Bible) to find hoe we should behave, behave and the reason of aou bad behaviour.

  • @jorgeramirez01 WHICH ONE ?? I have read your CHRISTIAN ABRAHAMIC IDEOLOGYand many more before you comment do research with a open mind to absorb the knowledge given from all corners of this earth which we are all equal residents of, that RELIGIONS & HOLY SCRIPTURES are HUMAN created control systems no matter how good moraly they may seem that unless you truly embark and learn from the rich history we all share you will state & defend just a tunneled vision bias view ....

  • whats up with the scientology ad on this video?

  • I got a scientology ad on this video. And how I laughed...

  • "not a religion bashing event"

music by band called Bad Religion

  • @mattmc318 and?

  • It's amazing when you feel the mental re-mapping connected to seeing the face of someone who has for a long time before only been a voice. It was like 3 secs but feels like half an hour "is this the face??! RLY? this face = that voice? really?" the re-mapping of the nugget that is surprisingly hard to accept without a felt struggle. Really interesting!

  • i wanna go but i cantttt

  • How did America end up as a religious country? It was founded with atheist principals, with the belief that religion and government should never meet.

  • @teslacopernicus Technically that's secularist not atheist; perhaps because the original settlers were mostly very religious people who fled Europe for being persecuted for their religion, thus when they had the freedom to, they practiced their religion a lot. They also probably had little else.

  • @teslacopernicus

Yeah I'd have to say the country was founded secular. Separate from religion, not making a judgement on it. Freedom of religion, believing whatever you want, and not getting harassed for it, at least not by the government, or in violation of any laws. No establishment of a state or federal religion. No favoritism of one religion over another.

US government is tasked with staying AWAY from any question of religion, not answering it negatively.

  • El secularismo crece, su combustión; Satanás...

  • @jorgeramirez01 SATANAS!!!!

  • Really wish i could go!

  • I hope Rebecca Watson shows up. I'd like for every atheist guy there to go up to her and ask her for a coffee date.

  • I want to go! I dislike Washington DC, but if I could go (which I can't :sob:) I would be on this like brown on rice.

  • I hope Penn Jillette and Teller is there

  • Makes me so happy to hear about this, seems AWESOME! Well wishes from Norway!

  • @JaviFairground ..Thank You from the United States !

  • every president should be there.you give up all faith when you see a dead

    alien.right bush.

  • Good luck to everyone involved in this. You're up against it in the west's most ignorant theocracy!

  • "This isn't about bashing religion"

    "music by Bad Religion"

Uhhhhhhh....... Yes it is? And that's exactly how I want it.

  • Please put this on live stream. someone. Anyone? p.s damn Seth you cute

  • The million soulless march?

  • We need a pro-reason political party.

  • PLEASE THUMB UP THIS COMMENT IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING

  • I would be there if I had anyway to get to D.C. Just know I support this 100% and hope that this can send a message to those in government that there is a larger group of people in the united states not being represented on any level of the democratic process.

  • I observe that a significant majority of comments are issued by individuals who will not be present, which is somewhat disappointing. I have already arranged flight and hotel reservations.

  • I didn't recognize you without the lightbulb on your face.

  • I wish I could go, but I live in the southernmost tip of texas

  • i wish i could go...

  • I want to go but I live in California....

  • Sadly, all these cool things seem to happen in america. Or at least on the mainland. XD

  • hope to see you there seth

  • @TheThinkingAtheist you voice does not fit you face lol.

  • Just thought I should comment on this again.. your voice is awesome.

  • HOYL SHIT your voice doesn't match your face, It looks as if your lip syncing! ... No but really I always thought you were skinny! LOL! (no offence), But to my own discredit I sound like a 20 year old collage student whenever I get behind a mic and I'm 16!

  • Adam 'Danger' Savage!? GASP! That is exciting. Curse my being in Canada!

  • You're sexy! I still think associating with Stephen Molyneux, the liar, is a bad idea. His crazy belief that free market mystical mumbo jumbo voodoo will raise new, habitable land out of the oceans should all the existing land be monopolized by tyrants is rather outlandish and completely unsupported by facts.

Since you're going to The Reason Rally, perhaps you can talk that cultist in to debating people who are actually scientifically minded and convince THEM he's right.

  • wow, no offense intended, but you do not look like your voice sounds, i know thats kind of a dumb statement, but i was not expecting that

  • I'd go if I didn't have school.Or if my parents weren't totally against my beliefs.

  • I'd come if you buy me the ticket from Brisbane to D.C. :P

  • wish i could go :(

  • Holy crap, he has a face!

  • You'll be putting all the footage on YouTube, right?! I hate that I have to miss this.

  • i would sell the left side of my body to come to this event.. sadly, the army doesn't give you much leeway to just take a vacation.

  • for the first time in my life, I really want to go to America to be present in an event. Like others have said before me, try to film this rally, I really want to see it! :)

  • Keep reminding us

  • < jealous of those who can make it :(

  • you couldn't include one female speaker?

  • I'm in B.C :( Can't come.

  • New Zealand... long way from everywhere. :-( ... will want to see some video, please.

  • Damn that sounds awesome! Too bad I live in Europe ):

  • A Mormon advert at the start of the video? WTF. Way to pick a target audience, youtube.

  • I'd love to see a live stream :)

  • It's always offputting seeing you speak, Seth. Just because from the podcast I'd assumed you were older.

  • Whats this Reason Rally? Somebody please tell me becuzz it looks very interesting!! =)

  • @Adizero70000 reasonrally(dot)org

  • @mirex951 For a moment i thought you were trying to make me look stupid.. Your lucky.. Thx:)

  • I never knew you looked like a rivethead...

  • It would be better if a reason rally wasn't necessary in the USA, unfortunately it is extremely necessary.

  • GAH can't believe I'm going to miss this! stupid school!

  • Damn it, I'd love to come but I live in Europe and can't really afford to come over there... I'll still be able to see what happens though, right?

  • People have already said it but I'll repeat: Please stream it for us poor, sad Europeans!

    Tim Minchin? *squeak!*

  • @CodeMonkeyGurl

    *Squeak!*, indeed,

  • want to go soooo bad... no one to go with. smh

  • Adam Savage?!?

  • @victoneter Both Adam and Jamie are atheists.

  • @mirex951 I know, your point? 99.999% of all atheists aren't coming to the rally.

  • If I had your voice, I would never stop talking...

  • Show your face more often =)

  • I need a ride!

  • I'll be in Japan! Wish I could go.

    Please do a live stream.

  • I think that rally should be everywhere.

  • I wish I could be there, but damn it's a long way from where I live.

  • Wish I could go. Give 'em hell! XD

  • will I be able to buy some acid there or should I buy ahead?

  • @Amputeenify Oh come on, acid? Be reasonable.

  • Is there one in the U.K, I so want to go.

  • @slashpuppy1 Nope. We should make one sometime though

  • I wish I could come. You should do one in Ontario...Maybe Waterloo?

  • well im 16 in florida so nooo but stream it youtube :)

  • I think Christopher Hitchens would've come :(
