@786zuni hello from athens.i think it is matter of luck....you know this is the rain season for idian ocean.btw as you can see in our photos the sun it was always there like my country,except the last afternoon was raining about one hour.

i think one other think is important if you go to kandooma in double beach villa,choose nr 70-90.i will go again same period but i choose another island,name kurendu it is better,not the room but the sea.have nice trip!

does the beach have stones? or just plain sand?

the beach have sand and dead corals and oysters...they look like stones but they are not!if you go to this island choose beach villa nr 70-90,this is the relaxed area ...the other numbers it is on the wild ocean side....or to the center of the island(garden villas)...

ive been to over 35 countries and i've live in the maldives for 6 months, and these islands will be gone in 30 years!

Beutiful lanscape...

Some questions :

- Is the water always so still there (except the tsunami).

- Could be these paradise isles submerged by the ocean if the erth clima is becoming warmer?

- You are living in Greece, where there are so beautiful isles also, are these ones quite diferent of the grecian ones?

hi dominique!1.the water in the ocean looks still,but is not.but most of this islands have circle phisical(or technical) walls from corals so the water at the swimming beach it is still.2.the sciences said that about 150 years the most, all the maldives will gone underwater..!!

yes is diferend than ours..the clima and the nature is tropical,the sea is warmer,and all the think is like piece of mind ..the perfect place to relax ...if i have money i will go again next summer..by the way i have used our islands....thanks
