I am glad Daniel Pearl was killed. He was a spy not a journalist. I do not want israeli terrorists roaming around Pakistan.

well, the guy said it all. Pearl didn't follow directions, so what do you do with someone who doesn't follow clear instructions on how to stay safe? Pearl's wife was an Israeli army officer, and Pearl had an Israeli passport...arguably it was an assasination of an Israeli, not an American.

This story reminded me of the danger journalists place themselves in every single day to keep us informed in this country. They go places & speak with the kind of people we would never either dare or dream to, I remember the journalists during the Gulf War & that I believe was the first time I ever fully understood the risks they take as they continued airing as the bombs fell all around. I would think that this is the true significance of Mr. Pearl's story & what he'd want to be remembered for

I read the book "A Mighty Heart" and it was very sad,just heart-breaking!In the book it mentions the be-heading of Daniel,but, I didn't believe the video would actually show the deed.I wished I didn't watch it.Poor Adam,to have these pictures of his Dad!So sad!

Danny was a brillant and brave guy. i cried my heart out after journalist and jihadist.i went to intl school of islamabad and all the cities mentioned by bennet in the 90s. it was something else, stunning country. middle class pakistanis are really good people.

Yes, Randall Bennett was the Domestic Security regional security officer when Pearl was abducted. Apparently, his "character" plays a major role in the motion picture starring Angelina Jolie. Bennett seems like a true professional.
