tint the windows dark black, put some nice big tires with small black rims and give it a small lift. then your set brooo. go run some children over 0_0
nice truck man!! throw you some tint on those windows tho make it look nicer ;) i got a 05 ranger 2.3L 4cyl manual... those things are tough.... its 2wd and still goes almost anywhere... : D
Dang you must take nice care of this truck. My dad owns a used carlot and he opened with his father and brother in 83. I love fords but most used cars ( as I would know) look like shit. But this car is NICE
thanks...its a good size...I bet your Geo is enjoying the high price of gas, whats your mpg??...I had a Ford Fiestiva,1993, 152,000 when i sold it last year,, still was getting 35 mpg...
my Metro isnt on the road yet. its sitting upstate, i think ima go pick it up tomorrow. and my stepdad has a 91 Metro that needs some work b4 it hits the road again (my 96 needs work too). I would guess the 91 could average 55MPG @ speeds of 50MPH. My 96 I would guess 45-50 MPG @ 50MPH. no matter what way you look at it, its still excellent.
yeah, wish i could have kept it..a 1992 Caddy Deville, red w/silver trim...but unlike you, i am no mechanic, and repairs were getting costly, minor repairs, but nothing i could do..
lol, i got a 1993 Cadillac DeVille. It's red with red int. Don't get me wrong, the ranger is a damn nice truck (i own a 98 as well). but the cadi is, well, a CADI. lol. I had to replace the heater core in mine, i can tell you one thing im never doing again. lol.
mine was red,w/red leather seats..I bought it in 1999, next yr the air conditioner failed, $1,000 to replace condenser(?)etc..cant have a nice caddy and no a/c..:)...it made driving a pleasure, in stead of a grind.....
$1k to replace the AC condenser? Where the hell at? That's the only thing I don't like about mine, is that you NEED a shop in order to do the most basic of maintnence (of course i have one). Ever try to do a tune up on one? I have the 4.9L, and the only way to get to the back spark plugs is to put it up on a lift and get them from underneith.
my reply post i guess is somewhere out there in youtube land..oh well, try again..i think it was a compressor, (i'm not very auto/savy..)then plus labor..i'm only qualified to put gas in the car and wash it!!HA!!
The compressor is a bit more spendy. But easyer to replace. So (I would think) it should have still been only around 500-600 bucks total(without sales tax). I don't know the exact numbers (parts, book time, cost of re-charge, ect) so that's just a rough guess at $75/hr shop rate (wich is cheap around here).
labor costs were gettn to me, no matter what was being fixed on the car...thats why when to opportunity came along to buy the 2005 Ranger, i jumped at it...commuting to work i had a 1993 Ford Festiva, at 35mpg, drove thru snow, sleet, etc...$18 a week for fuel costs!!!
yeah a 302 would give me lots of power, but for my needs the V6 is OK...before the truck, i owned a Caddy..always beat everyone off at the light w/a big V8!!!!!!!!
i was just joking man hahaha! i always wanted a truck just like yours but ended up with a bmw lol. hey, at least the steering wheel is in the right side hahahaha! really nice truck by the way = ]
bought my "Edge" from a family member..so no expert...except for the 'off road' pkg, the Edge supercab 4 dr, 4WD is their highest priced model..16" wheels w/4.0 V6 engine..with the icy roads i had this morning, the 4WD worked great!!!
Hi Charlie! I wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful Ranger there. I also have a 2005. It's t he same truck with the "EDGE" package. Just Red. I've got 35,000 miles. Runs like a dream. Here in Massachusetts with the winters and all the trees, I wax it once a week to keep it safe. Maybe a little excesive, but I love it. Best of luck to you my friend.
Nice Ford.
