  • I don't know anything about Rugby, but why do they always dive at the end of the field?

  • @sactownism Its safer and more secure than just leaning over and touching the ball on the ground. Then people might kick it out of you hand or push you over

  • haha the first Kiwi try, I think no. 7, haha so bloody typically illegal, massive forward pass. If anything could describe the Kiwi rugby team from its start to present day, it would be 2 words, illegal and cheat.

  • does someone know the title of the song starting at 0:19 ??? the song of the guinness sponsor? great video...

  • Im having a huge discussion with my mate here!!! Me and his dad thinks Rugby union has more tackles than Rugby league... What do you guys reckon??? and why....

  • YOU dont know wat rugby is...... rugbys the best

  • What is rugby anyways?

Whats the goal of the game?

  • there is no way league players tackle better. league players tackle like fuckin pussys compared to union players

  • league is faster, fitter, tougher and more skilful and a bit more strict on forward passes

  • league is faster, fitter, tougher and more skilful

  • probably the goofiest sport next to lacrosse is rugby. this game is one long benny hill chase without the hot chicks. ill give it respect to a degree because the game spawned our american football which is 2 zillion times the game this crapfest is. foreigners dont have the brain power to understand an NFL game so they have to settle for this junk. heck, id rather watch soccer....wait, no i wouldnt.

  • @copsondonuts there is no need to be offensive... if you don't like rugby, fair enough, just shut up and get on with life. stop ruining other people tastes. plus, rugby union, league and Association Football are popular WORLDWIDE. Whereas american football is stuck in about 1 nation.

  • @copsondonuts I didn't realize you didn't chase people in American football... Yeh you're right, the rest of the world doesn't watch American Football because it is boring, slow paced, jammed with adverts and requires no physical fitness. But because they are not as smart as Americans. Heck I'd rather watch baseball, actually no I wouldn't that's just another adaptation of a British sport. Do you actually make your own things or just copy Britain?

  • @PotentThorn dont misinterpret what i said. i have not a problem with rugby being the grandfather of our football. i dont really even have a problem with soccer, they are all different sports which require different levels of play, fitness, skill. the problem i have is the constant badgering my sport gets from know-nothing emaciated/starving euro's who couldnt even begin to HIT a baseball much less throw one.

  • @copsondonuts I didn't misinterpret what you said, I got it bang on. Baseball? Well we have a sport that is identical to baseball but with a smaller ball and no gloves, in other words it's harder to hit the ball and requires more technique to catch properly without hurting yourself, it's called rounders and it's what you Americans copied to make baseball.

  • @PotentThorn sigh....and you guys copied 'soccer-football' from the chinese, recorded history shows that. SO WHAT. your doofy responses proves two things...1.) europeans are still stupid people (yes, i consider GB 'europe') 2.) you haven't been taught proper 'reading-comprehension' skills in your classroom. So i shouldn't expect anything too analytical from you.

  • @copsondonuts Well I have been taught in both British and American schools, your grammar is about as good as Helen Keller's, so lets not get into education. As for intelligence globally, statistics show intelligence is constant throughout the world. Or would you like some name Hawking, the most intelligent person in recorded history, Newton, Einstein, the list really does go on. You know when I lived in America, about 15 or so people asked me how I learned English so quickly.

  • @PotentThorn "statistics show intelligence is constant throughout the world. " <-------- BWAHAHAHAHAHA even those millions of rural chinese who've barely even seen a real BOOK let alone know how to read it? those guys? or the millions of indians who are the same? those people? you mean those russians over there who might not ever see a classroom in their entire lives? the afghan cavemen? the bazillions of uneducated africans? europe= their stupidity amazes me to this day.

  • @copsondonuts Are you actually retarded, or slow? Intelligence has nothing to do with that stuff, you're born with intelligence, you can't learn it. You're thinking of knowledge. "millions of Indians who are the same" That's so racist, wrong and irrelevant. Jesus, there was a fucking study done on five year olds to show that they could understand other people's perspectives yet you seem to have no idea that Indians look different to other Indians, just like you do to other white people.

  • @PotentThorn lol 'knowledge' 'experience' etc INCREASES the intellectual capacity in people you dolt. you're born with BASIC intelligence, it EXPANDS with experience and knowledge and how you USE it. Good god i think europe is cursed for eternity with idiocy. no wonder your history is filled with bloodshed and ruin. "thats so racist...." awww did i offend your politically correct mind? do you know what you're writing? Or do you just type away without thinking?

  • @copsondonuts Experience and knowledge do not need to be in quotation marks, they do not increase the capacity as a capacity by definition is not increased but is filled. The USA is the only country to have offensively detonated nuclear warheads killing nearly 200,000 civilians and the Europeans have a bloodshed history? Oh yeh the Europeans invented those nuclear weapon. Racist and retarded, you've got to be a hillbilly, are your parents related, incest isn't exactly PC you know.

  • @PotentThorn ummmm no, it INCREASES. obviously yours hasn't and mine has. the question is does one have the ABILITY to increase it, some don't. some are just DUMB (you). "The USA is the only country to have offensively detonated nuclear warheads killing nearly 200,000 civilians and the Europeans have a bloodshed history"---- LOL shall i bring up communism, nazism (nazism alone dwarfs the bombs.) the crusades, inquisitions potato famine, napolean sigh,,,,yes, bloodthirsty is too nice of a word.

  • @copsondonuts Well just the nuclear bombs reached a death count that was 1/30 of that of the holocaust, so in one month the Americans could have killed as many as the Nazis did in 4 years. Ok, so lets talk about what goes on in the American continents then, if you're gonna talk about eastern Europe I will talk about the drug, sex and human trafficking in South America, the slavery cases, the Brian Jonestown massacre, the lynchings, McCarthyism, the KKK, gun crime, Guantanamo bay etc...

  • @PotentThorn wouldn't listen to him he's a stupid yank prick

  • @copsondonuts The potato famine?! What? How was that blood shed, it was a bad harvest hahaha, that's like me using hurricane Katrina as a point. Oh yeh and I missed out columbine, the world trade center, the primitive medical system, the socialism, the fascism. Oh and then there is the slavery of the blacks, the civil war, the racism (as displayed by yourself), causing the global collapse of the banks and lets not forget, America is still one of the youngest countries in the world

  • why is everybody hating on rugby? I am a MAJOR (American) Football fan and even i know that football came from Ruby. I LOVE playing/watching football and if you do too, than dont hate on Ruby.

  • @EdibleDebate Rugby not ruby :P. i know people are just so against the sport. :( . what's wrong with it?

  • union isn't as good as league, NFL and League are the best imo.

  • rugby is bush league

only one guy i saw could play football

  • lolz, the ads look like they're standing up

  • My only fear with that is that in Rugby you cannot block. And blocking in Football is key. Hopefully he could shift gears in his mind from one sport to the other. At 40 years old, I've played Football for so long I don't think I could play Rugby. My instinct to block for my ball runner would be too great. WHAP! Ohhh shit...

  • @norseman7088 different codes of football. but, if rugby hadn't have been invented, american football wouldn't even exist. but, yeah, there are many codes of football. rugby is included.

  • Chris Latham, what a legend!

  • ah man i wished union would be bigger in germany :/

  • Advertisement? no one needs advertisements.in NZ wellington theres a rugby club on every corner of every town.u just need to go n sign up

  • The golden days...

  • great video .. rugby is the 2nd biggest sport in the world behind football . no doubt about it folks

  • mad tries

  • George Chuter dummy try brilliant XD

  • @NickTheWizz I suppose fat cunts need to occasionally have a moment in the sun too

  • Comment removed

  • is there someone who knows the title of the soundtrack of the guinness premiership at the beginning of the video?

  • Clint eastwood said the sport is fucking tuff.

  • Lol at George Chuter scoring. Go Tigers!

  • i <3 number 2. awesome feet

  • Australia needs another Matt Rogers

  • australia needs good players not old players. innovation not tradition.

  • You are saying Australia couldn't use a young player with the talent of Matt Rogers?

  • Comment removed

  • TO AucklandRylez AND adthesteam2007

seriously Australia is just too good.

  • i respect aussie but u lost all three matches to nz this year

  • @cosma038 same here but u lost all three matches to south africa

  • Sum nice tries der lads!

  • to AuklandRulez, why don`t you count the try tally mate, 2 to NZ, 5 to Aus and 3 to England, if WE were biased we WOULDN`T SHOW ANY NZ tries

  • lol at chris jack on the wing

  • lol, chris jack was so mean 2 that all black guy

  • chris jack is an all black :/ well in this vid at least...

  • fuck you dude

  • Lote Tuquiri's try is the best of the lot, Chris Latham what a player, great ability on attack and defence when required.

  • r u telling me that the all blacks scored only one fantastic try in 2006.

  • nah its just the biased pommie bastards

  • yeah i bet you feel real comfortable spouting that shit at 5th while we sit up at first :/

  • nope just one in the top ten. The total tries that could be classed as super each year would easily go past 50 which would make it half an hour long, or thereabouts.

  • You mean National Football League of Australia which they have shit rugby league clubs. Pommies = New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga.

  • Huh?

  • you have no idea mate u dont even no the name of the competition...loser

  • 3:34 ... greegan gets bursted! *sniffs* always taut whitaker was a better scrum half than greegan anyway!=D

  • your right dude totally right

  • Chris latham!

  • 3:01 ' Fuck off ' :L

  • Very Good, and England aswell, lol, ;o}

  • Thanks mate for sharing.....it was good to see those tries again, hell I thought when they said 10 tries and England came up that they had got footage of all the "poms" tries since William Webb Ellis....rofl....hahahaha, Your Kiwi Mate....lol....:))

  • lol at 3:33

  • always nice to see the big lads getting in on the scoring !

  • Class clip thanks.

  • im american and rugby look funner then american football

i want to play it one day

  • It's a Lot More Physical than, NFL, lol, ;o}

  • rugby union and rugby league - it shows that the world of rugby is a rich, with its diversity and pride.

  • American football and rugby are both great...I've played both extensively, trust me... they're quite different, but both killer awesome!

  • The reason rugby isn't popular in the US is because there's not enough stoppage of play to show advertisements

  • good call

  • @ultragalaxydeath and because in the beginning american football gained sponsers and became professional before rugby did, and then took the time to work on advertisements to make football seem better then rugby and rugby seem like a bad, barbaric sport, slowly making it more and more unpopular

  • @TWsfgg Bullshit.., Rugby Gained sponsors way before football did...,

Rugby became professional way before football did,

Only the Americans and Hawaiians play football.. >_< 18 other countries play rugby.., get your facts right.

Advertisements don't mean shit.., The Americans didn't play enough rugby to make it popular.., that hole comment you wrote is rubbish,

  • @FrayOfLight football became professional when they started giving enough money that people can live off of to play, and that happend way before it did in rugby, which happened in the 90s, my facts are fucking straight. also for starters canada plays where they have a fucking league, and further look at a interview by roger goodell at NFL.com as my source where he talks about NFL expansion to england and mexico at least. and americans did play enough rugby they won 2 gold medals in the olympics

  • @TWsfgg In Rugby it went pro in 1987..,

American NFL isn't professional unless a considerable part of the world plays it..,

Why do you think it's only called "American" its because the North American province plays it.., and Most of the countries (England, France, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand) were formed in 1880s-1920's..,

  • @FrayOfLight That's your own definition of "professional". If people are PAID to play the game it's professional, no matter if it's one country or twenty. American professional football has existed since 1902, and the NFL was founded in 1922. Back to your point about American football being a north American sport. Check out the International Federation of American Football sometime. American football is a truly global sport, albeit less popular than rugby, except in N. America.

  • @norseman7088 Bullshit.., Its played by barely 4 countries..,

Just admit the fact Rugby is better then American Football..,

Most of you dumbshits won't give up saying "NFL IS WIN, UMG LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" So newsflash for ya.., Rugby existed 30 years before that sport.., and Internations were played before the sport was even started.

    So fuck off will ya.

  • @FrayOfLight I post facts and you post "bullshit". EPIC FAIL.

And I'll admit that both sports are DIFFERENT in their own right. Rugby can sometimes get a little boring and it looks like American football before the advent of the forward pass (without the blocking). But I certainly respect the stamina and endurance that Rugby players possess. And it is a more exciting game to watch than most.

I'd rather watch Rugby than Soccer, Basketball or Baseball, but my first love is still Football.

  • @norseman7088 Bah.., I posted Bullshit for the fact that you said "American football is a truly global sport, albeit less popular than rugby".

    Its not Global at all.,

  • @FrayOfLight The sport is even played in your own country! NZAFA! It's global! Does the NZAFA have a following akin to the All Blacks? Hell NO. Rugby is not popular in America........but it's played here. Same/same.

Actually I'm trying to change that. I'm attempting to bring a Junior High Rugby league to my area. My son hates Baseball and Rugby would make a great alternative spring sport.

Besides, a lot of what he'd learn in Rugby would equate directly to Football. Win/win

  • @TWsfgg Rugby went professional in 1987 when their actually was a tournament..,

And in the olympics.., they won Plate medals or Bowl medals.., as in the sevens are based in 4 divisions of play.

American rugby has never won a cup..

  • @FrayOfLight rugby reached the professional era in the early 1990s, in the 1987 world cup there was just a tournament for it, as for the olympics they won gold for both 1920 and 1924, The era of professional sports happens when a person can make a living off of it and not need another job, England has expressed an idea to form a NFL team of their own, or have a division in england

  • @ultragalaxydeath Oh I don't know, they could play some during all of the line outs rugby experiences.

  • everyone shutup

union and league are both good

    american NFL is SHIT

    k?

  • @haddonfullback Are three are pretty sick.

  • @haddonfullback i agree. a bunch of fat steroid eating gorillas

  • @haddonfullback I'm an American, I haven't known the difference between League and Union until just a moment ago. Both are clearly superior to American Football. That being said, I watched a film of international League tries and then this film; the League tries are far more entertaining, they make more people miss and pitch the ball in traffic more often, plus you can hit with the shoulder... like a man.

  • @Trageikeman116 League's entertainment is due to the way they manipulate the action to focus not on possession but on the ability to break through and score. Union's contestation at the tackle requires a more methodical approach to open up room to score. League may have more entertaining tries, but Union has a depth and spirit to it that makes it a more fulfilling experience in my opinion.

  • inglese gay vengan a la argentina les vamos a enseñar como se juegaa al rugby aguante (CAP) parque rugby club

  • i wish they would show rugby on t.v. in the united states

  • just one of the many things America will never appreciate.

  • well we would but it is true rugby is hard to come across in the united states

  • obese homesexuals romping eacho other in the scrum hahaha

  • rugby league is for fuckin pussy like you PUSSYHOLE

  • mong

  • what the fuck is mong you pussy fuck you twat

  • how is league better? the maximum amount of phases you can have is 6. There's no build up, just short passages of play.

  • becoz union is just like kick then kick back then kick back then kick back, then finally tackled an the forwards run though 7 times only to make 10 meters,im sorry i like union bbut when they enter that phase it annoys the shit out of me.

dont critize the sports their both good, no problem with insulting nfl though

  • League is for bums and losers. League players are twats who rape women and piss on people in night clubs. Also it is soo fucking predictable.

    1st tackle - hit up

    2nd tackle - hit up

3rd tackle - pass through the hands

    4th tackle - hit up

    5th tackle - kick

Harden the fuck up and play a real sport!!

    Rugby union fucks up league!!!

  • Haaa nice one, we played a rugby league team once in a union tournament and none of them committed to rucks, absoloutly wasted them

  • i play union and league. unions more exciting but the trys are more epic in league :D

  • That is complete bollucks! leage isn't as phisical as union but is more skilled with the ball. but uninion is better

  • not really... these tries are pretty damn good

  • amen to that

  • yeh,umm sonny bill went from league to union and kicked some french fly halfs ass on his first tackle and mark gasnier has been scoring heaps in the french clubs.more big hits in rugby league

  • I hope they bring back the southern hemisphere and northern hemisphere teams for a match or two

  • lol balshaw was at fault for all the tries scored against england, when tuqiri got his, he shuda stayed solid and let varndell hit fucking gerard not hit him himself..what a retard

  • Try 10 sham on mat rogers he got turned inside out by a dummy and beaten by a hooker 22+m out LOL

  • good on you, mate.

  • Oh and i guess you mean england are crap or sumthin? fcuk all up with england ffs

  • anyone notice how easy the australians scored against england? shame they couldnt do it at the world cup...:(

  • don't get me started on how good australia should be. theres too much league here, we need more union players.

  • if im honest, get some fucking props! lol

  • league is for people who cant play union like you i am guessing lol

  • League is for pussys and league players don't have as good stamina as union players IMO.

  • this is shocking...England and the southern hemisphere...best tries my arse.

  • there are some nice tries in there, but the footage is all from sky - so they have only looked at games THEY have the rights to. i.e. England non-6N games, and Tri-Nations games. They ignore anything that they dont have rights to, like it doesnt even exist - that's Sky for you!

  • coolest sport ever

  • south africa rules

  • WTF. Where is the Brian Habana tries?

  • does any1 know the song they use for the Premiership intro?

  • made by sum prick who knows nothing about rugby.

  • that was awsome exspeashaly lote tuqare last 1

  • most of those tries were rubbish the only good one was the last try it was obvious that film was made by and englishman and an aussie!

  • LOL - im english and i agree, that was crap. They only looked at about 4 games and only a couple of them were any good. What the hell was that george chuter try doing in there???????

  • what a load of horse poo...typical english to leave out SA tries and also the welsh...how about Fouries try against the Allbacks...just pathetic the English

  • Funny that there is no Springbok try! And really, do they reckon the no 2 and no 1 tries are really that good, dont say that were the best tries of the year. Did they not have anything other than NZ, Aus and England games to watch? NZ for one scored a lot of tries in 2006. Only 2 in the top 10....really!

  • that was pretty awful i saw a lot better tries myself like lathams try against wales, one of the numerous tries scored by ireland and new zealand etc...

  • loti tiquiri,s last tri was realy good support and a wonderful finish

  • Oh god...I watched the ENG/AUS games with Aussie commentery. This commentery was dreadful...He sounded like he wanted to go to sleep.

The aussie commentery team sounds so much more excited...

  • i would have to say i like the aussie commentators the best even though i'm a kiwi i think the aussie commentators make the game feel a bit more exciting and better to watch

  • thats what happens when you sit next to Stuart Barnes, poor Miles Harrison hardly had room to breath.

  • tiquiri and chris latham are just unbelievable when they work together

  • i agree

  • Ironic how the announcer said "class" when Chris Jack gave the guy the shove.

  • personally i thought iain balshaws try wasnt that great it was just poor tackling! Sackey's try was great!

I was loving Chris jacks try! especially the push at the end!
