I hate art, it's so self-indulgent and useless... I mean, I used to like art, but many art just turn out to be quite elitist and aristocratic.

How can you hate art? You need to self-indulge from time to time and appreciate beauty. If you can't appreciate beauty then you can't fully appreciate life.

Well that's postmodern/contemporary art for you. If you have the time check out Wikipedia for more on htis kind of art; you will either be lukewarm to it, or be entirely disgusted by it. :-)

Wouldn't mind living on a small island community. No one needs a metropolis--which are turning into lifeless voids of concrete and steel; not to mention the lifeless voids that occupy them.
