i dont get why people would buy from a store even if they weren't from puppy mills. adoption centers are sooo better! 1st of all there dogs come with everything for such a deal. 2nd. you save a life! and 3rd. you are there hero you saved them from being putdown, from being stuck in a cage for the rest of their life and they will love you more than any store bought pampered pooch in the WORLD You gave them a second chance at life and they respect you for that! every dog deserves a 2nd chance!!!!

My clinic just took in animals that were rescued from puppy mills... I fell in love with one of them to the point where I ended up taking him home! He's so sweet and he LOVES people! He didn't like to walk around a lot at first, I think he wasn't used to it, but now he runs around and wags his tail like crazy.

My old neighbor where I used to live had a dog, he was a really good neighbor but one day I looked into his yard when I kicked my ball over the fence and I saw him hitting is dog with a base ball bat. So I got a video camera and I video taped him gave it to my parentsand it was it was put on the news so everyone could see, and then he was sued or somehing for animal abuse. He also got his dog taken away from him.

ide like to know more about where these dogs are sold, and who is buying them. im a proud dog owner and i cant even imagine buying a dog without having a good relationship with its breeders and knowing its family tree. i just dont know how this happens

HSUS, THERE WAS A RECENT RAID ON PUPPY MILL from Milwaukee-based Humane Society, rescued 1,100 dogs!!!!!!! I also rescued one of mine

from abusive people there from puppy mill-

"Shina-Cinnabar" lived 18 year of love with me,spoke"Mama".My newest rescue is Albino Pekingese,named"Capi"-star on YT & June 1st 8th birthday.He had been kept in cage,Never let out for 1&1/2 years. Now he is pure Love &Joy,free&can run like the wind! Loved all 4of my rescued Pekingese. This video brings tears..Penny

God bless the HSUS and ALL of the hard work that you do for the helpless animals around the country. You are their voice in ways that matter so very much. The work has to be incredibly hard, but you do it with such selflessness and dedication. At 40 seconds into this video, our new addition, Jezebelle is shown. We adopted her from the Anti-Cruelty Society here in Chicago, on July 7th. I cannot believe how many dogs were living like that ! She had never climbed stairs, had her own food & water, or had room to run. She's very fast, flying around our fenced in yard. LOL The bitch that ran this hellhole should be SHOT ! Or at the very least, give me just 5 minutes alone in a room with her. I guarentee she'd never walk out alive !

i am so happy that there are wonderful people like the hsus to give a voice to these dogs. my husband and i rescued a little 6 wk old kitten that was just thrown out to defend for himself. he is the most loving boy. always giving kisses and just wants to be close to us. thank you all for all the hard work you do for the ones that can't talk and tell us that this is so wrong.
