Harold Ford Jr. has spent his whole life playing Stepin Fetchit for the man, trying desperately to convince Whitey that he knows his place. Except that when he confronted Cracker , um... Corker, he sent the one message that someone who does that can never send: that he doesn't know his place.

corker may not be pushing religion in his commercials... but damn, he'll go as far as making fun of ford's family. I'd prefer a guy who vocalizes his religious values over one who criticizes someone else's family- like you can control what they're doing.

Many real religions have a GOD. This GOD is a basis for moral and disciplined behavior.

True religions advocate peace amongst all mankind.

A kinder suggestion that perhaps Mr. Ford should use spirituality or GOD would have suffice.
