Nobody can answer these two questions with any certainty - 1) Can you export videos taken on that camera (like the one above) into imovie and then edit them. 2) Does it take quality still photographs. Not one Google search has given me the answers and Apple are vague. Thanks.

my webcam on my new 27" imac wont work now, it says the Facetime HD camera is there on the system profiler but when i open applications to use it (Photobooth, Skype, iChat) it says there is no camera connected. if anyone can help or has had the same problem, please contact me. thank you

I think the coolest thing about the new iMacs is the quad-core processor, on all configs (even the "low-end" model).

In my opinion, the 13'' mbp is a better option. Whatever makes you happy.

@strontface2 For me, the 13" is a TERRIBLE option. It would be slower than the 15" I just got rid of, and the screen is way to small to use for a main computer.

@techreviewer7 I don't see why it would be slower. It has no dedicated GPU but the processor has 4 virtual cores clocked at 2.3 Ghz. Also, I believe it would be useful in college to take notes.

Controlling our electrical house hold items and cars from our hand held devices or any PC, or Mac I know is coming real soon. My dream is to eliminate WIRES! NO MORE PLUGS would be so cool! I also think things like BR players and DVD players will be a thing of the past soon. At 17 you are going to see so much. Can you imagine by the time you are 40? then how about 65? WOW

the quality is good,a lot better than a load of other people,but it is a bit grainy in the dark areas,and the contrast isnt great

in my opinion it would be ok for updates and news and stuff but not for unboxings and product reviews

@Eric101point101 Those cons that you stated are probably because it was pretty dark in my room. I wasn't planning on using it for unboxings and reviews though. I have a $900 camera for those.
