If you think more into it, child molesters only affect the child and families of the children. Drug dealers can affect entire communities and may indirectly cause hundreds or even thousands of crimes like theft, robbery, murder, burglary, and obviously more drug dealing.

Prisons are pretty much wide open places, the inmates pretty much do what they want, the only time the staff will step in is if there is a fight or other type of disturbance. The staff maintain order, they will tell you to tuck your shirt in or other trivial stuff but they do not meddle in inmate affairs. I've been there and have seen pretty much everything you could imagine.

well it is possible to be sentenced to death or to life in prison but even then people often get their death sentences converted to life sentences and lots of people get off on parole after like 8-20 years.
Often people are sentenced to like 30 years in prison but they often don't spend half that time before the get out on parole of just get realesed early for various reasons.

yuh, I feel ya...but the way "big brother" sees it though is after violating the laws that were issued (The laws that an american citizen must follow in order to be an american citizen to have those rights; they feel it must be earned.) They consider you pretty much with no rights because you violated the rules that was given. Yeah, it's not right BUT! my main concern is ATLEAST the human rights! You never lose those rights! And prisons barely pass that. Hell, dogs get treated way better...wtf?

Regardless of what these **diehard save every human** people might state; Prisoners should be disallowed any form of contact period! How many of millions of dollars have we spent sending this prisoner from prison to prison? They would kill you in a heartbeat via a gun, knife or drugs! Should we not be concerned more about the survival of the potential victims? Can we afford this? Rather, let us use prisoners in lab experiment and allow innocent other species the freedom to live out their lives!

well it is possible to be sentenced to death or to life in prison but even then people often get their death sentences converted to life sentences and lots of people get off on parole after like 8-20 years.
Often people are sentenced to like 30 years in prison but they often don't spend half that time before the get out on parole of just get realesed early for various reasons.
