The video is also included, also you can download more video from dreamscene homepage or just recode any video to a format compatible with dreamscene (mpg/wmn)...Best dreamscene video can be found in youtube, just download the 1080MP4 and recod later to mpg o wmv,

@guitarshishi If you defrag all your hard drives and also defrag from steam when ask, probably the message will go away later. If this is your first time running framework instalation you must reboot system to save the changes on windows...I never had problems when i install like video tutorial. I allready help, polans, germans, brazilean, all turn to run ok (using teamviewer remote control). Just do as video, Steam > cancel update > smart > game > update..also disable firewall ;)

@guitarshishi close steam > run smartsteam.exe again. Both must do this. And try to connect again. If ant of you have a bad instalation the problem will persist. Try to connect to me, i´m in tunngle right now (kakanutto)

@MelkorDragon Yes i tested before and is also possible. But installing original steam and cancel update make steam run faster, don´t know exactly why, but i thing is just some adress issues on regedit or something like that. Also when i reupload the original steam i change the name to make clear is steam+smartsteam all in one. It was the only way to make steam 100% compatible with smartsteam 1.4.1. ;)

@Penumbra2605 The reason I made this guide for Magicka is simple. There was no guide at all, tunngle guide stop working, so i invent a new one ^_^. After making the first video tunngle update his tutorial and let me also edit the original text after some time (admin priviledge), it was 1.4.0.3 (update 26) first, then later I found the newest update (29) with some help. This tutorial is probably compatible with new updates to come (1.5.x.x), that´s the best thing. :) glad U like it

@MandosMady You need to close steam. Then open smartsteam.exe like in video, after login, run magicka.exe. To close steam: Right click on steam icon > press close (newie guide xD). If you still get magicka homepage inside steam, you probably install magicka in the wrong path. Use DVD setup a reinstall from cero, and remembet this path goes for magicka>> "x:\xxx\steam\steamapps\common­\magicka\[Magicka.exe]"

never tested myself, but i heard is possible to join a smartsteam host using original game, since version is the same at the moment.

You can´t play original game using this (old steam+smart). But yes, i allready play using same smart system with a friend, we play Torchlight online, and work just fine. But i remind you, he also have same smartsteam (45mb), we install torchlight using smartsteam (online instalation) without problems, and he say to me ":O this smart of your is cool, seem i can install and play games directly from steam"...We never test another game, but sure work fine using tunngle with others games.

I guess so...With smartsteam you can also make a full download of games from steam, but not all of them are available (for free users). ;)

Happend some times...allways respect the order of the video to aboid problems, install steam (cancel update) > copy smartsteam and overwrite > Install magicka > update magicka > run smartsteam.exe and the magicka.exe. Also remind you allways install magicka using the DVD setup inside steam "steam/steamapps/common/magick­­a/magicka.exe" ;)

Make sure original steam is not running before running smartsteam.exe (steam allways opens on windows star-up)

No all players must have same version...Or game may crash because of new skins, maps, adventure with this new update.

Happens all the time? Because game crash in lobby is normal since the conection latency is low (no data transfer) and game is unstable. Another thing that may crash game when join a host is a bad version (did you update to 1.4.6.0?), so the other player show a new skin incompatible with your version and make your game crash.

I do everything like in video etc. and it almost works, but when I run the game SmartSteam starts to configure it, stops at instalation of "xnaf31.redist.msi" and gives me system error :( What do I do with that? :S

Install XNA/NET frameworks with the links on description to 4.0....

Version 3.1 (magicka setup) is not copatible with Vista and Seven...

That´s why i put links for online setups XP-Vista-Seven both x86 & x64 compatible ;)

Support a company is always a good idea. And i thing you can play samartsteam players also since we have same version. Windows updates like framework need windows restart-up to take effect.

Then recorded with windows movie maker to:

16:9 - 16.000kb/s -1920x1080 "wmv" 750mb file...

Youtube recode the file once uploaded to a 250mb mp4 file 1080p ;)

Yes.. is a 1025Mb Update split in 3 files..

All Magicka updates are not progresive that´s why they are so heavy in size.

Here seems working OK.

Copy smartsteam again, aboid overwrite "smartapps" this time, and try again.

More than 50 person allready test is working, perhaps you need to do like in video, start by desintalling steam from windows, then install (cancel update), copy smartsteam and overwrite, then install with Magicka DVD inside steam and then just update game..Run smartsteam.exe then magicka.exe (steam/steamapss/common/magick­a.exe)..Plz try again ;)

If game show "Authentification fail" and you can´t fix by running smart and game as admin, plz download DVD on description, it´s the same "iso" file from video tutorial. Also remind you to watch ALL VIDEO to aboid problems, repeat step by step, just took me 4min to install, is easy. If game don´t run or crash using all originals files plz try updates for windows (XP-Vista-Seven) 4 links fully compatible are show on description for Dx-Net/XNA.Frame 4.0 Online Setup
