Thanks for the tip of copying credit cards front and back and storing in a safe. Everywhere I go and am asked to fill out forms (such as at a new doctor's office), they always ask for my social security number. Should I refuse to give the number? If they say I must give my SS number or go elsewhere, should I go elsewhere? Why would a doctor's office need my SS number?
