im depressed damn..my parents always were looking down on me especially my father..some people say im special that im very kind..i dont believe them..i dont..i believe that im nothing..im anxious and nervous all the time..i dont like making new relationships..i have a girlfriend..she is away from me (distance)and i havent seen her for about 6 months..i love her,she says im special,i dont believe her..im anxious every morning..every day..i cant work..i have no confidence...I NEED HELP!! You can do two things: Be real. Don't pretend you are not depressed (If you are manic depressant, that is another issue). Also, be open. God can use people to reach us, but we have to be wiling, and we have to have a ready ear.

As a Christian who has been through a lot of stuff I do agree that being alone is the last thing you want to do and be, but when you're really suffering taking the initiative is sometimes the hardest thing in the world. I believe those are well in faith and have a strong foundation should be reaching out to those who suffer and not expect them to come to them as if they were God; I think that's a pretty self-rightious attitude.

Many times no one knows when we are suffering, and if you are like me, you have a tendency to shun people when you suffer.

We need to be around people, but it is the last thing we usually do. We all have our own lives and don't always think about one another; ideally we indeed should.

No one is too good to call a brother or sister in Christ in need, but we do get busy, and are not always the most considerate.

We should reach out and love our suffering brothers and sisters.

When I made this video, I had Christians in mind. However, most of the principals are universal. If a person is not a believer, I would ask them to consider Christ. Not religion, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I agree. People are all of those things you mentioned above, but 'believers' are given things to hope for. In times of depression, hope is what people need most. Jesus preached the Gospel to the hurting and the poor, people who needed good news more than anyone else. No video or Christian devotion can remove all pain. Pain is apart of life. Videos like mine and Saviors like Jesus help us deal with our pain, and try to give us an explanation for it. Understand?
