FMJ would have gone right through...which is the reason why states forbid FMJs for hunting I guess

I used steel core 150gr Romanian 8mm with my Yugo M48. Every round penetrated all 4 phone books that were taped together. I was impressed.

Sorry! I can not show you bullets, they all were crushed on the small pieces in magazines.

Darn, I was hoping you would show the SPCE bullet from between the magazines. I had some serious problems with the S&B bullets when it came to expansion. They are very accurate but the bullet would come apart on contact. Would find 3,4,5 pieces of the bullet in the animal. Because of this I would not get enough penetration with the SPCE bullet. Did you remove the bullets from the magazines? How did they do?
