Looking at your 1911 compared to mine, yours is is such nice condition. I don't know if my looks like crap because i maintain it wrong or just normal use.

@TheBlueManChoo I only had 150 rounds through it during this time, got 500 through it now. I use corrosionx or balliston on the finish. But it don't look like that anymore..lol

I was alway Taught to keep oil away from the feed ramp but I noticed that you put oil on it why would you want to take the chance for a build up right there but maybe that is just me

@nilox33 I do, but I make a big effort to fully dry it and clean it. Sometimes I use alcohol if it is not looking dry.
