Hi! So... After rolling brownies you dip in chocolate AND then the melted candy melts? So you dip twice? I plan on making these for my sons bday party soon ;)
@Butterfly102410 - You either can dip them in chocolate or the candy melts.. you do not dip twice... you only need to touch up the bare spots with more.
Hi, I made these for my daughter's baby shower and quite a hit they made!! She wants to make them for her friend's baby shower and our question: can you freeze them after they are dipped in the chocolate?
@OfficialShawntelDinh - you want to wait at least 45 min to an hour.. just cool enought to touch and hold form. if you roll when it is still to warm then the balls wont hold into a round ball.
@LINDOCULIACAN i would charge about a dollar per Brownie pop. I you decorate them and put then in a nice container or plate i would even do $1.50 per pop. a friend of mine made them after i showed her how and she took them to work and her boss and a few other coworkers offered to pay her to make them for them and she charged 40 dollars for 20 pops...
Nice video. I see you are not using any frosting or icing when you are making the cake pops, I know it adds sweetnes to the already sweet cake but I thought it was necessary to hold it together ?
A friend suggested me to try thick choclate pudding to the cake crumbs to hold the dough together and I ´d appreciate your opinion.
@YTfancol - I havent tried pudding.. A friend of mine did cake pops and I do believe she used cream cheese and confectioners sugar and combined that with the cake to keep them together as you roll them in balls. I would assume pudding would be do the same thing... I will see if I can dig up here reciepe and post it.
You can buy them online through my amazon store smartpartiesc-20
or you can buy them at Michaels, you might be able to find them at Walmart in the hobby area with the cake decorating stuff. depends on the Walmart wheather they carry them. But I know Michaels carries them.
no problem I am glad you liked them and found them easy to make.. My goal is to teach people that its not hard to make things diffrent and cute at the same time. It make look like its hard but really very simple.
@SmartParties I made these for my daughters 1st Communion and dipped them in different shades of purple and white, everyone loved them. Even though they are enrobed in chocolate they were not too sweet. thanks again
Great job at doing the video! Loved it and very easy to understan. I will do these for a baby shower. Can I leave these in the fridge for about 3-4 days?
You can make these a week in advance if you want. Need to keep them sealed an in a cool place so the chocolate won't melt and the brownie stays moist.
No problem... Glad you liked it and found it useful. I have had a friend (O'fallon Monkey) who I taught how to make them and she has made them for a bunch of people at her work. The best part about these is you can make them fancy or simple and they look and taste great.
wish u would do more pRty ideas ;) i luv xoxo ur blog and utube
