I am not mad about anything. Your "around the world" is the west, and only a minor part of it.

Think this way, Iron might well do a show at Kazakhstan, for example, but would they sing Afraid to Shoot Strangers, a song in support to these late interventions in arab countries? You can not suppose that all around world feel united because this song: it just does not please all Iron fans.

@caralhoman , this song is neutral and it's from soldier's perspective that knows that he is fighting for his corrupt politicians, but justifies the whole shebang as a humane cause. To make things easier for himself; another song of this type is These Colours Don't Run, about being a soldier, not USA soldier or Afghanistan soldier, just generic soldier sent to war. And they've played it in front of tens of thousands of Arabs that were waving various Arab country flags. So your point is invalid.

I do not know These Colours Don't Run, it may well be about "generic soldier", I know this song and this song is not. It is a western view on the west/east cultural clash of later decades.

My invalid point is: would you sing to a pixie crowd a song with a gnome point of view about a gnomes vs pixies conflict?

I hate that artistic slow motion video bullshit..... just show the band playing the fucking song. I want to see Nicko play fills, I want to see guitar solos in real time. I want to see Steve Harris play triplets, not make slow motion facial expressions.
