@jlok8lak Yeah you get used to it. But you start off on the small 125cc bike which is easiest to handle and then you gradually build up to MotoGP bikes.
Guys, it's a RIDER not a driver as you ride a motorcycle not drive it.
I appreciate the ongoing videos. MotoGP 10/11 is very good offline, the online mode is kaput with many dropouts and connection issues. Monumental and Capcom have been really quiet about the issue, which isn't helping to keep interest in the game.
Sales figures thus far are very ordinary with 16,000 copies sold in 2 weeks (that's the 360 & PS3 totals combined!). Tis a shame as 10/11 is a huge improvement over 09/10
I know that North America didn't get an official release of MotoGP 10/11 for reasons only known to Capcom but it has been confirmed on the XBLA Addicts forums by an American who posts within the MotoGP gaming sub-forum that the PAL region disc works in NTSC Xbox 360's!
If those in America and Canada want the game, they do have the ability to buy the game. No idea why Capcom and Monumental haven't posted officially about their game being region free 8-)
MotoGP 08 was a solid game but a watered down SBK '08 with slightly better graphics. MotoGP 09/10 was more akin to Grid. The free 2010 MotoGP class update was a response to the criticisms of the '09 bike physics and are much better but a little way off SBK X for realism.
MotoGP 10/11 physics were rebuilt from the ground up & one can tell straight away it's a better game. Some will claim the braking isn't quite correct but overall it's a much better game than 08 & 09/10.
@travisjohn1975 Yeah I have been playing for a while now and I love it. I hated the demo though funny enough, probably because the demo just threw you on a MotoGP bike while the actual game starts you off on the small 125cc bike which is easier to handle. My career is on Catalunya Grand Prix (its taken a while because I like racing with real life laps) but by playing through career mode I can certainly tell how much work and effort they have put into making this game!

@jlok8lak The brakes are still crap, so is the handeling. I gave up on this game.
Everytime when I wan't to play this game and just give it another try I get this frustration feeling :/
Especially the sounds, irritating.

@eppsislike do you think motogp 08 was way much better than 09/10 and 10/11 ?
FireDeathSkull 6 months ago
@FireDeathSkull No...as a matter of fact, Motogp 08 was very amateuristic. The THQ series of Motogp were the best of them all.
