No, I am into them. Missy0336, do not listen if you do not like them or like the faces they make. They are extremely talented and deserve all of the fame they have received. just for your information, missy0336, the higher in pitch one sings without falsetto, the wider one's mouth should open. in addition, the singer must sing with increased depth and energy. thus when u watch good singers sing tough pieces like this they tend to "make faces". they're not "making faces" just for fun or because they're "so into themselves". go learn a thing or two about singing technique first.

I guess you are too used to looking at performances of artists like Mariah Carey and to a lesser extent the likes of Lady Gaga who spend too much time trying to look picture perfect and posing 24/7 while they perform. When people literally put in the hard yards to reach for notes that are higher than comfortable (so many artists don't put in any effort to do that these days) you end up where the "reaching" for the note actually shows on your face.

Answer: great singing takes even greater effort

They are the best act that has EVER appeared on American Idol and bringing them together to sing as Il Divo is one of Simon Cowell's greatest achievements. I love listening to them and watching them sing! They put their hearts into it!
