  • beck is amazing, and amazing and amazing :-)

  • The 2 greatest guitarists ever

  • Jeff Beck Rules

  • further on up the road is referring to time passing...do you REALLY think it means literally a couple exits down an actual road????get real

  • i can't wait to see beck at bonnaroo!

  • Two of the most talented guitar players ever. And good friends besides.

  • Thanks for posting. I'd love to "suck" as bad as EC. I think he was just laying back a little bit and Jeff decided to be aggressive with his chops. Great to hear them together.

  • It's strange that everytime I see two blues performers on stage someone has to assert that one blows the other away or whatever. Why not appreciate the variation in style and approach? That's what makes music interesting and enjoyable. To say that Clapton sux is just nonsense. He's a great player. He's kept the tradition alive. I just don't understand why people need to make music into a silly competition. That takes the heart out of it.

  • What the fuck are you saying mister assmouth? Clapton is playing the hard thing and he is singing so stop sucking balls man! Clapton is the god on that stage!

  • It's Further

  • its further man, are you deaf? Listen to this version and The Last Waltz version B, its Further On Up The Road.

  • I guess if we're talking about a symbolic road then "further" would be correct. Otherwise it's "farther."

Farther refers to length or distance. It is the comparative form of the word far when referring to distance.

Further means "to a greater degree," "additional," or "additionally." It refers to time or amount. It is the comparative form of the word far when meaning "much."

Correct: London is farther north than Juneau.

    (Refers to distance)

  • It doesn't matter what the fuck either one of the words mean, the lyric in the song is ''further''.

  • why is it desactivated we can find it everywhere what is the point? I have a problem with that & I like to understand explain it to me please!

  • OMG, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton jamming together on Further On Up The Road ! I must be on a Stairway to Heaven :-)

    llisa67 Thanks for sharing.

    Billi

  • I have really kinda "ignored" JB for the 35 yrs I have been playin. ....seen him several times live and never really "caught it/got it" but I am happy to say that at 52 y.o. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks...

  • Guitar geeks please note: check what a classic nasty Telecaster tone Mr Beck gets even with humbucking pick-ups. And note how he coaxes the occasionally somnambulant Clapton into such a fiery and extrovert performance.

  • haha yeah I notice that a lot about beck and who he "coaxes", if i were a singer or a good musician of any sort, Beck would be the man i would def want to highlite me - it is a great talent and very admirable..... also the best by himself!

    he da man!
