  • and bend those 19s

  • and on the solo tab it'd be 17p19 not 19p17 u idiot

  • nice lesson, couple things wrong, 1. on the solo you start of at 5th fret on D.

    2. the main riff is power chord on 12th fret and hamer on 10th fret instead of going to 8th and the power chords are on the E,A and D.

  • Very easy song!!!

  • GREAT !!

Thanks you very very very much !!!!!

  • it sounds sloppy in regular tuning

  • Here is a trick that Wolf Mother does. Instead of going back and forth on the chorus's chords, just release the Major Noted fingers and make it a quick Light Minor note. Same on the higher part.

  • Great tutorial I really liked it and it was great with the tabs and what it sounds like put together thanks for that

  • great video. thanks for that

  • awesome lesson!!! thanks soo much, really helps to have the tabs on screen, good job ty :D

  • sick tone! what amp setting did you put your amp at? I can't seem to get it right

  • This looks so fun to play.

  • i have a phaser and ive tried everithing but the intro doesnt sound the same how the hell do you get that sound??

  • damnt it i hate 3 finger power chords >.>

  • Yah it is Drop D. Makes it easier to play and gives it a deeper tone.

  • Great lesson, thanks

  • Great lessons man! I’m subscribing.

  • Amazing. These videos are EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I learned how to play this song by the end of the video. Thank you, and keep it up.

  • tune it in drop d, makes it wayyyy easier

  • Great lesson :D

  • excellent guitar lesson. Thanks!

  • awesome gonna play this for school !!!

  • If you drop your low E string to D (drop it 2 frets so that it syncs with the 7th fret of the A string) you can play the chords as 12-12 instead of 10-12. It's a lot easier that way.

  • That is in the key of D

  • yea it's Drop D... It sounds alot closer to album edit.

  • thanks dude!

  • Dude this video was so well done, the tabs showin' as you play, the fact that you didn't make it sound overly complicated. I just needed help with the intro/chorus t'make sure I was doin' it right, so thanks!

  • Nice vid can u make a vid on BFMV :) plezzzz

  • thanks heaps mate great lesson!

  • i find it easier in drop D tuning. but that's just me. also at the end of the solo, after the last note, what does he do there? can't find that part anywhere

  • Wolfmother - Live at JTV - Joker and the Thief

Just found a great live version (search for above) and they play it in standard tuning, but watch what he does for the quick power chaord changes. Very sneaky but dead good. Makes it much easier to play.

  • great video man loved it helped heaps keep rockin' : )

  • could you tell me the website that you get the notes from?

  • but the real tuning is drop D thats the way Wolfmother plays it

  • Yeah, what he said. Good lesson, but it's a lot more difficult hitting those power chords if it's not in drop D.

  • @ScullCandy56 Yeah, but who cares if the notes are the same. Plus, it's much less of a hassle when you learn to play songs in standard tuning. No monkeying around and tuning your guitar onstage annoying everybody or having to switch back and forth from a couple guitars tuned differently. Standard tuning is the king!

  • @elfhermie It's just one string to change, lol.

  • thanks heaps :)

  • Hi mate, I seem to keep getting a high tune after playing a powerchord (10/12), just after releasing it a bit to stop the tune. Don't hear it after playing the same powerchord on 13/15 or 15/17. Did you had any trouble with that or not? Got any advice to keap that high tone out?

    Thnx!

  • @ruudf89 Im having the same problem and it is really starting to piss me off.
