Story mode can be either one. Whether you go one player or two, it doesn't effect the story in any way. The only difference between one and 2 player is that two is more fun.

you have to do a coop melee, you cud only do that on ur third hit...for instance chris has to do a melee atk first then sheva then chris again, pretty much like playing pingpong...

found out how to kick and neckbreak enemies on chris. shoot em in the leg or upper arm then when there stunned go behind them to execute the move. on sheva it's apparently a knee kick and a throat slit. there's ground attacks to - chris has a stomp and sheva stabs em.

COOL! there's much more variety here than in resi 4. in 4 you had just two - a high and a low attack, although they were awesome to! (hunks kick & neckbreaker really stick in my mind) but in R5 you got hooks uppercuts low kicks and all sorts. in this vid the thrust kick is probably my favourite, they were playing zombie football!

i don't know but i can't wait to find out. but it looks like whatever mini game they have this time, wesker and hunk will almost certainly be in it. you can see someone that looks a lot like hunk in the trailer. he's firing an RPG from a chopper. i'm hopeful. :o after all wesker & hunk are popular characters. especially cos of the mercenaries. it would be mean not to let us play as them.
