Hey this is great dude! I've been having a lot of trouble getting the kimura, and this is exactly why. Quick question though: Is there a way to block the defense where the person grabs their mid section or thigh to prevent the kimura other than just getting the kimura quickly enough?
Very nice! I never thought about doing the kimura this way, until now. Thank you for opening my eyes to another variation of this technique. By the way, good job on explaining the break down of all the steps to make the move work.
There are a couple of ways to continue the attack with this counter. Please ask this in our MMA Discussion Board at our website and I'll be glad to make a video!
i'm just learningbasics jui jitsu right now...its really cool i enjoy it...i know this is probably a stupid question but is all of this is jui jitsui your teaching?
The martial arts incorporated in my system are jiu-jitsu, aikido, and muay thai. The majority of the ground work you're seeing is JJ. Thanks for watching!
Great technique here...you know i almost all the time get the kimura position...but my opponent always grabs between thir legs to prevent the hold...How do I break the grip? Im a blue belt training in Gracie Barra Ecuador...thanks

I love your videos, but I'm old and my eyesight is bad. Can you move the camera a little closer so I can see the details. Thanks.

Cool, I'll try this next class. I'm always looking for better ways to get the kimura. Can you recommend any submissions to try if I miss this one?
