@watermelonandpotato Actually the Enright holding the ball lead to Brown kicking a point, still a shocker. You are thinking of Ottens "high" tackle on Ben Johnson that lead to a goal. The Stokes 50 metre penalty was against Ling for holding Swan according to SEN commentary
If it didnt bounce away from the post, how could it have hit? And i never would have thought that that goal ump could change his mind? Sorry but if thats not ridiculous, i dont know what is. Also Judging by the 5 free kicks that weren't paid within the first 5-8 minutes of the game, i would say they were against us.
i was listening on the radio, and the commentators were saying that the goal umpire looked away, automatically thought it was gonna be a goal or point or something, didn't even see it through, but thats what i heard from them anywayz
It was not the worst decision of all time, I have seen far worse. Put yourself in the Goal Umpire's shoes. He can't hear it hit the post cos of the crowd and it didn't exactly deviate a great deal, so if he didn't see it hit the post either, he calls it a goal. He only had one look at it, we had all the replays, give the umpires some slack. It was the only mistake out of a lot of decisions and in the end did have no impact on the game whatsoever, move on....
you should edit it when the ump go to signal a behind pause it and put dollar signs in the umps eyes the and cha ching sound and play it through from there
u tosers if the umpire taps his stomac it means my call!!!!!!!!

In my mind there were 3 more blatantly wrong decisions. 2 led to Collingwood goals, 1 led to a Geelong goal.
1. 50m penalty awarded against Mathew Stokes in Q1 for supposedly coming into Luke Ball's protected area. Ball goals.
2. Incorrect holding the ball decision against Corey Enright in Q2; his boot made contact with the ball. C'wood goals.
3. Dane Swan's non-paid mark. He did actually keep the ball off the turf. Jolly is pinged in the subsequent ruck for deliberate OOB. Geelong goals.
