The main problem with the Left is their certitude that our problems can be solved, that the solutions are obvious, and all that is needed is the right leadership to implement those solutions. In the real world we have trade-offs, not solutions.

1. The Republican controlled House has passed several budgets, but the Democrats in the Senate hasn't passed one in over 1000 days.

2. The wealthy gave far more to Obama than McCain.

On a personal note, i have been affiliated with certain political groups on my campus like YAL. we have received just as much hostilities from said conservatives as we did from liberals. all in all, there wasn't much of it to speak of.
